Blue Valley Pediatric Dentistry

Took my 3 year old for his first dentist appt. Staff was phenomenal! They took time to explain each thing to him and made him feel comfortable. From the front desk receptionist, to the hygienist, the Dr, and checkout staff- they were great!

My kids have been patients for the past 7 years. Always great service and I appreciate how organized and friendly the staff is. Dr. Axelsen is very caring and willing to answer questions. The hygienists have great rapport with the kiddos and make them feel at ease and special. Highly recommend!

The most calm, patient and efficient dental office and staff! I love the care they give my child who had a traumatic event at a previous pediatric dentist. They have rebuilt trust for her and helped ease her anxiety with going to the dentist!

We loved our first visit at BVPD! Scheduling an appointment was easy, I love the access of filling out paperwork online and the text reminders are so helpful. Dr. Liz and Dr. Vanessa are wonderful and the staff is personable. I never felt uncomfortable with a screaming one year old!! 🤪 oh and the office is adorable. Highly recommend BVPD

We have been going to Blue Valley Pediatric Dentistry for over a year now and love the office, the staff, and the doctor. Our son (7 years old) had to have extensive work done on his teeth and the experience was great even though it was nerve wracking for us. Our daughter (4 years old) has only had to have routine cleanings but every time we go she is more relaxed at the visit. The staff talk to her and us which is so wonderful and I think helps the kids have a positive experience with the dentist. There are movies playing on the ceiling above the chairs so the kids have something to watch during their cleanings which is great as well.

I highly recommend this office!

My son has been here twice for dental treatments and we love this place. It is (unfortunately) the 3rd pediatric dental office we have been to and have not had a good experience until now. Dr. Liz is kind and patient and great with kids. Her assistant Kayla is also kind and helpful. I highly recommend this dental office!

The experience that my 5 year old son had in getting one tooth extracted and a crown was beyond amazing. From our very first visit everyone was so welcoming and kind. Dr Liz has such a calming energy about her that it made my kiddo feel safe. Her assistant is amazing and made us feel good that she remembered myself and my two kiddos with just 3 visits in. I would recommend Dr. Liz and her staff to everyone. They explain everything in a way that makes the kids feel comfortable, safe and happy!

My kids love going to the BVPD!! They wake up early and excited for their appointment to see Dr. Vanessa and all of THE AMAZING staff! They are ALL knowledgeable and experts in their field. Dr. Vanessa is our absolutefavorite but we have NO problem seeing any of the other Drs. 100% faith and trust in EVERYONE there. Clean, friendly, efficient, beautiful. Every visit is a 5 star visit. We love them!

My 6 yr old son visited the office today for a tooth extraction and filling with Dr. Liz, and I am absolutely amazed at how they were able to kept him calm and informed throughout the whole procedure. This was our first experience at the dentist with anything besides a cleaning, and I'm so appreciative of their skill and calming environment. We will be switching all of our kids to this office for regular care! Highly recommend!

My kids love going to the dentist. They have both had a few cavities filled and the staff was calming and helped the kids feel comfortable. The dentist is amazing and is always so informative and the kids are excited to see her. Would recommend to anyone!!!

Dr Vanessa and our hygienist Erin are both outstanding!! I would recommend this office to anyone with kids. They make the kids feel so at ease and my kids are both thrilled when they get to go to the dentist. They also give good treat bags (important to my 3 year old). Erin has the perfect personality for what she does. From the way she speaks and interacts with the kids you can tell she really loves her job. Dr Vanessa has done an excellent job with her dental office.

I absolutely love Dr. Vanessa and her staff. The entire process from the scheduling, the reminders, the checking in is top notch. And! most importantly Dr.V and her staff are amazing with kids and their expertise is unparalleled. The office is ALWAYS super clean and it is decorated so well for kids (the owl theme is so cute!) All three of my kids love going to the dentist thanks to Dr. V. and her staff. They are EXCELLENT!

My son was so excited to go to the dentist and with a 3 year old you never know how it’s going to go but from the minute we walked through the door we knew we were going to love their office. Kayla worked with my 3yr old son for his first dental appointment and made sure he was comfortable with everything she was doing. She was so sweet to him and very patient throughout his entire appointment. Everyone in their office actually talked to my son, not over him- huge deal to him!!! Dr Axelsen was the sweetest dentist we have ever met! She explained everything during his exam and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever feeling like we were being rushed. Highly recommending her office to everyone!

I have two austistic kiddos who are very afraid of dentist visits. We have only had good experiences at Blue Valley Pediatric Dentistry. They are very good at explaining everything and helping the kids to feel confident at the dentist office. We have even done walk-throughs in the office in preparation for visits. They were very accommodating! Amazingly enough, my kids go willingly (albeit still hesitantly) to the dentist. They don't dread it the same as they once did. We love our dentist office!

We heard of this dentist from a mom group. This was my daughters first dental visit. The entire staff is great, and very welcoming! Our Hygienist was wonderful with our 2 year old. She explained everything and was so patient. Dr. Vanessa went over everything quick and painless. We highly suggest Blue Valley Pediatric Dentistry. We’re excited to continue bringing our kiddos here!

Very happy with every visit. Extremely compassionate and fun staff, really made all experiences positive for our two kids (now 7 and 11), far cry from the torture I experienced as a kid (without ever having local anesthesia). Thank you to Dr. Vanessa and the rest of the staff!

Whole staff is great with my Little. Dr Vanessa seems to really love kids. They have cash plans that are cheaper than many insurance coverage; this is especially great if you have toddlers.

Both of my kids have sensory and anxiety issues. They have never enjoyed the dentist until meeting Dr. Vanessa. She and her staff are kind, patient and loving with their patients. They explained everything they did before they did it and made my kids at ease. We are so grateful to have found this practice.
