Nick & Jake's Overland Park

Nick & Jake’s is a bar and restaurant with great food and nice bar area with many TVs. I had the gourmet burger and it was great. High quality beef, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and a unique sauce that seemed to be a mayo and apricot jam combo. I tried the key lime pie and it was the perfect texture and tart the way I like it.

Once again I was stunned by how exceptional and enjoyable tonight evening was at Nick&Jake’s. Our waitress Morgan was very friendly and on top of everything we needed! I would definitely recommend coming here for a date night or solo if you’re looking for quality food and service. Will be back soon!

1st time here. Host greets, i ask for a booth if possible, he asks what side would you like, I respond the quieter side and he took me to "Nicks" side. Had no idea until Ethan, our server greeted and took the order for drinks. I told him I've never been here so recommendations, along with anything else you have to offer. He was so informative! Explaining nicks side of the menu is more "fine dining" so to speak and Jake's side the bar side fits more that type of restaraunt stuff. I asked if he had any wraps and he said they can change most if not any sandwich or salad into a wrap 😍 I had the fried chicken salad (gone wrap)! He only charged 9.50 for the wrap since technically the wrap is less ingredients than the salad. And al carte the fries. The ranch didnt taste housemade, and honestly the only thing that could have made this experience better, and it already has 5 stars from me. Will definitely be back sometime soon! Thanks Ethan for being a true gem waitor and making this experience that much easier. And the host who made a quick everlasting impression as well! Hats off to the chef as well!

Edit: 2nd go around got a wrap again to go and was instead charged 12.50. It's still a good sized wrap but it doesn't come with a side which would still be al acarte. I have mixed feelings here. None the less, still good place to eat and worth checking out. Beyond burger was really good and service was still exceptional as well.

Consistently great, both in food and service. My family goes here a lot to eat because whatever item on the menu we try from appetizers to specials are delicious. My personal favorite dish is the French Dip and, whenever it is the soup of the day, the gumbo. Do not miss out on the desserts either. They have the absolute best carrot cake. I dream of their carrot cake.

This was our first time trying this place and we were so impressed! Our server, Beth, was on top of everything! Such a great server! Our bar drinks came right away as well as our appetizers and food. Everything tasted amazing. We had the Irish nachos, highly recommend the. I loved my espresso martini. We also got a couple desserts and they were out of this world. I'm so glad we tried this place and we will definitely be back.

A staple! You need to try it! The food is amazing and the service is great. The atmosphere is amazing and the bar is great. Swing by for a quick bite and great service!

Places phenomenal went there with some co-workers. For the first time for lunch, we were all so impressed that I took my husband back there on Friday evening for a date night. As he put it, it just satisfied his soul. Kudos to you guys, kudos to your weight staff to your cook staff. In absolutely lovely establishment all around.

Truly enjoyed our evening at Nick and Jake’s, their food is always so delicious and the price is fair! My family enjoyed their burgers alongside the grilled bourbon salmon. No shortage of food and I’ll be back soon!

If you’re looking for a restaurant with a lively atmosphere, great food and awesome service this is the place for you. I’ve never had a bad experience at Nick and Jake’s and they do not skimp on the food portions.

Our server Christina was absolutely delightful! She was quick, pleasant and efficient. However, when we ordered dessert the server (not Christina)who was carrying our dessert on a plate, stopped and had a 10 min conversation with another patron in a booth just feet away from us. My wife and I started drumming our fingers and joking about how our chocolate cake was dancing around in front of us.
My wife had the grilled bourbon salmon and I had jambalaya with rice. Both were excellent especially since it was Valentine's Day!

Lunch was great. The service was top-notch, and the food was incredible. The restaurant was nice and clean. We interacted with at least four employees. They were all very polite and professional. I can't wait to go back for another meal.

Arrived shortly after open, so no waiting. Waitress was attentive and very patient. All the staff were excellent.
The chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The chicken was a little dry, and the sandwich came with no condiments, so be sure to ask if you want anything other than ketchup, which is already on the table.
Sweet potato fries were good.
BBQ pork sandwich and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese were very creamy and cheesy.
The BBQ sandwich was delicious. It comes topped with slices of jalapeño, which I removed. The onion topping was weird but tastes good.
Chips and cheese dip and salsa were also good. The cheese dip I loved. The salsa was sweet with a little after kick, very good. The chips are thicker than what I am used to seeing in a restaurant and held up to the dips without breaking

We’re from out of town and were here shopping. Atmosphere, service, and food were all great. Between us, we had mozzarella sticks, salmon, French dip, kids grilled cheese, and the brownie dessert. Would definitely recommend all of it! Our waitress, Hayley, was great too! Will definitely be back!

I had the chicken quesadilla during happy hour for a great price. I really liked the onion jam on it. My child had the salmon and rice kids meal. They have a kids' entertainment page with crayons and also bring out a plate of grapes and cheezits for kids too. The wait staff were friendly.

My taste buds died and went to Heaven. I have never had a more tastier grilled bourbon Salmon or better Salmon ever. I am sure there other food is just as good too. Highly recommend you try this place.

Had Morgan as our waitress! She was AMAZING! So attentive and charismatic! Food came out fast and perfect! Excellent experience all because of Morgan.

Nick and Jake’s is a casual pub atmosphere. We were here to visit with some family while we were in town. When we first made the reservation, we needed a table for four, but then some other relatives changed their minds and showed up later—so we needed to move tables.

Logan was great helping us out (and there was another gal there who helped move our tables—shoulder length black hair, helped out then putting us somewhere secluded—yay!). Logan was super helpful and attentive.

Food was great and service was quick.

This is a great local joint, lots of fun and great place to meet with people for good food.

Would definitely go here again!

The food was delicious but what made our experience the best one ever was our server. Hayley was absolutely incredible!! We eat out frequently and often, you can barely even get your server’s attention. Hayley was attentive and personable and never once made us feel like we were bothering her or taking up her time, even though she had multiple tables. We will be back, on the days that Hayley works!!

Steak soup delish, tomatoe bisque v yum as well. Half rack of ribs and 2 Mama's meatloaf plates left just enough room to share an awesome carrot cake - our server and BoH were amazing!

You'll feel at home (in a good way) every time you go here. Great food, great people. Sit at the bar to enjoy a game and friendly patrons. Sit at a table to enjoy the company of your friends and loved ones. You will not be disappointed... If you are, they will make it right.
