First time in the store looking for a pair of running shoes. Grant was extremely helpful confirming that my 14 W size was correct and help me pick out a very attractive pair of shoes which were unfortunately not in stock but which Grant had ordered I’ll look forward to coming and picking them up. I haven’t had this kind of service in a retail store in a long time

I have a family member who has been needing a supportive shoe to assist her with walking. I went to the New Balance store on 119th Street since their shoes are the brand my husband prefer. (He's been an advocate of the brand for 40+ years!)

Spencer is the salesman (and assistant manager) who made my selection so easy; he is knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. He advised me about the benefits of elastic shoelaces and a shoehorn for people in a memory care facility. His suggestions were most helpful and greatly appreciated!

Went it not knowing what to expect. Ashley greeted me, very friendly and nice. I told her it was my first time in here and that I was having foot pain on the side. She immediately took to me to the 3d scan machine and told me that I had a very high arch and showed me all the recommendations for arch support and gave me several options to choose from. I got to try a few pairs to make sure I was comfortable. End up buying two pairs one for work and the other for casual. This place it top notch and really take the time to make sure you are good to go! Highly recommend! These shoes are comfortable the most comfortable I've ever had. Thank you Ashley!!!

First time shopping here and the experience I had was very good. The saleswoman measured and scanned my feet so I would get the right shoes. She was very knowledgeable about finding the right pair that will hold up to walking seven hours on concrete floors during a shift. I will definitely go back and get another pair of "casual" shoes. They also sell inserts for extra support. A+ customer service.

The 1080 v13 is softest running shoe I ever bought. Highly recommend.

I saw Walt Closer first (unfortunately, he's since retired), who was extremely thorough and measured my feet to determine my current shoe size, which is 8.5. (As we age, our feet may change in size due to flattening of the arches.) Walt said that my forefoot was wide but my rearfoot was normal to narrow. He suggested a normal width of shoe but I asked to try a wide width. I liked the pair I tried on in the store, and as I was walking around they were comfortable.
When I got home and started using them, I discovered that my heel was slipping up and down (Note to self: Listen to the shoe salesman! He knows what he's talking about!). Since I'd worn them several times, I needed to figure out some kind of modification. They were still comfortable, aside from the heel slippage, and I didn't want to give them up.
I went back to the New Balance store and talked with Ayden. Hurray!! There is such a thing as a tongue pad, which adheres to the underside of the tongue of the shoe, keeping the midfoot secure and preventing the rearfoot from rising up out of the shoe. We tried them on my shoes, and they worked perfectly!! Now I'm back to wearing my New Balance shoes and love them. Thank you to Ayden for his knowledge and ability to come up with a modification! And thank you to Walt for his expertise in fitting shoes! The New Balance team is GREAT!

Great customer service! Size we needed wasn't in stock so they ordered it. Only took a few days and they called to notify us it was in. We had the privilege of being assisted by Annie, the floor manager. She was just outstanding - great sense of humor and displayed high-level of knowledge about the product. And we bought the type that are Made in the USA!!

Excellent service! I used their proprietary 3D foot mapper which helped to choose the correct shoe for me. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Decided to head Friday to this store to inquire about really good tennis shoes. Sorry I didn't get her name but was approached by this nice young gal. Asked what we were interested in. I explained I wanted white shoes I could walk in especially on trails. She spent a lot of time having me try different shoes after she scanned my feet. I explained how I had twisted my ankles a lot through the years. She listened very well.

I think the 3rd pair was it. Basically she went through a narrowing down process with me With shoes and inserts and why and what they did.

She could have just approached me differently but she really took her time so we could find that awe moment.

Well I found that awe moment. My back and knees thank you.

My husband decided to do the same thing. She then did the same type of fitting for him. He ended up with the same shoes but different inserts. Oh they're gray a purple. Really pretty too.

Both very happy people. Great customer service. Well be back.

We really appreciate the explanation of how you're different than ordering on line and how it all works. You pay for what you get. Worth every penny!!!!

Great customer service. They have a full through one on one kind of session with you wherein you can discuss about your needs and their are very knowledgeable so they always have a number of products and we can chose the best for us. Annie is great, I mean she listens and gives advice. The place is great and trust me you'll have a new kind of experience here. Will come back definitely.

I fitted for two shoes (a workout pair and a daily pair). The saleswoman who helped me was super knowledgeable, helped me find the perfect fit for both including the right inserts for my workout pair. She was so friendly and made the whole experience feel luxurious.

I bought a pair of 840-4 running shoes from the Overland Park New Balance store about a month ago. I found them very comfortable for my daily 3 - -4 mile walk. Unfortunately, after a month and approximately 30 miles of walking the sole on the inside of the left shoe at the heel collapsed. This caused me to walk on the side of my foot. Because the shoes were so new I took them back to the store to see if anything could be done. Long story short, they replaced the shoes with a new pair no questions asked. In fact I was barely in the store 5 minutes. This is why I buy from New Balance Overland Park. Truly GREAT customer service!! I will continue to buy all of my athletic shoes from New Balance Overland Park. Thanks so much!

I was struggling to find comfortable gym shoes at the sporting good stores. I have high arches and wide feet making it difficult to find the proper fit. On a recommendation I decided to try the New Balance Store. Right when we walked in Nancy the Fit Pro greeted us. Nancy was knowledgeable and professional (not the same experience I had at other places). She took time to properly size my feet and explain why not just any type of shoe was right for me. After trying on a few of pairs she had recommend it was easy to make my decision. Great service, fair price, and very comfortable shoes.
