I recently moved to KC and am SO glad I found this store. This was my second trip to this store. I came back because of the superior products and service I received the first time. I worked again with Makelle, who knows more about shoes, feet and arch support than I ever will. She measured BOTH feet and did an ink impression (see photos) to determine EXACTLY what kind of arch support I needed (free of charge) and then helped me select shoes that worked best for my feet. I was ordering my Birkenstocks and Dansko shoes on Amazon, for the same price, and getting no help in getting the right kind and size shoe. Makelle is so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Last time I was in another salesperson was helping an elderly gentlemen get shoes. The elderly man was just having a rough day and the salesperson was SO GOOD with him. ❤He treated the elderly customer with such care and respect. I would highly recommend this store to anyone needing good shoes for an elderly person or any age. The selection is great and I have never had better shoe service anywhere else. Truly. I stopped in to replace my almost 10-year-old pair of Birkenstocks (purchased here as well). Rodney assisted me in checking my shoe size since I couldn't remember what size my old ones were, and he gave me an overview of some of the new features the classic Birkenstocks have (new labeling, how tell if it is wide or narrow fit). It was a quick and friendly experience overall! Just wanted to give Rodney a shout out for his great service, and let others know that the team here is caring and knowledgeable. Don't hesitate to stop in if you need any type of comfort shoe.

I’m getting older, so I went to Comfort Plus to get my new school shoes. I teach, and every year I get a new pair of sneakers because I’m on my feet most of the day. I had heard from a neighbor that Comfort Plus had a great inventory of quality shoes. My salesman, Curt Curtis, assisted me in finding the right shoe for my feet. He spent over 30 minutes with me measuring, trying on, and explaining what shoe would work best for me. I was blown away, because I’ve never had a salesman explain exactly what my issues were and finding the exact shoe that catered to my needs. The shoe and insert were perfect. I haven’t felt this good on my feet in years. Thank you Comfort Plus and an extra thank you to my salesman Curt!

I visited about a week ago due to some serious calf and achille’s tendon pain. Makelle did a thorough assessment of my issues, and along with Luis, helped diagnose some of the issues going on with my feet, gait, and legs. They selected a range of shoes for me to try on, and along with orthotic inserts, everything worked well. I’ve been wearing the shoes for the last week, and my legs have gotten significantly better. This was a great shoe store, and Makelle and team were outstanding. I have never been to a full-service shoe-store, but this was the best experience in a shoe store I’ve ever had - kudos to the team, and highly recommend!

I was hesitant but relied in part on the great reviews. Welcomed to the store and reviewed my aches and pains. After an analysis of my foot pressure I ended up with a new orthodic insert saving a pair of shoes destined for the bin. A suggestion was made for casual shoes and after trying 2 or 3 pairs I ended up with a pair of Finn sandals that feel great. No rush, no pressure...just good suggestions by Glenn Curtis.

Rodney was an immense help when I went in today to try on a pair of Birkenstocks! I highly reccomend Comfort Plus for a personalized, helpful shoe-shopping experience!

Both Rodney and Louis worked hard to analyze my husband’s current foot problems and gave him several options for footwear that would give him the support and comfort he needs.

Adam was extremely helpful and kind! Finding shoes that fit is a frustrating experience for me; But, Adam made the experience a pleasant one. He was knowledgeable and was able to get a quick read on what I like and don't like in terms of style. Thank you so much for your kindness and patience!!!

We were taken care of so well here! Foot pain and problems have always plagued me, but they found sandals and shoes that not only looked cute, but they changed my foot pain and problems immensely!
Now my hubby is going in to get the correct footwear for his issues.

If you have wide feet, they will have shoes for you or they will order what will fit you and call you when it arrives. The only place I buy my shoes. Great people at Comfort Plus Shoes in Camelot Court Shopping Center, Leawood, Kansas.

My wife needs special shoes so we come here because they really know what they're doing when it comes to feet. She likes Birkenstock shoes best, and the prices at Comfort Plus are comparable to other stores we found online, plus here you get the expertise of the knowledgeable staff to ensure you get what you need and want.

I recently purchased a new pair of shoes with Rodney, I am a hard fit and buying shoes is always difficult and not something I enjoy. Rodney went above and beyond finding the right shoes and fit for me. I feel like Cinderella, they fit like a glove.

So very happy with our experience yesterday at Comfort Plus. My grandson and I both went home with great-fitting walking shoes, and the staff that helped each of us was knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right pairs and the right fit. We will be coming back before too long, so that we each have a pair and a spare! Thank you, Comfort Plus Shoes, for your help and patience. I went into Comfort Plus Shoes expecting just another shoe store, and walked out with two excellent pairs of shoes, including a pair of tennis shoes that are my favorite shoes of all time! The sales staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I was helped by a service professional named Heather who really knew what she was doing and helped my find the right fit for my super-wide feet. I don't usually write reviews, but this place was great!

I've been here multiple times and have received excellent customer service every time! The staff is way more knowledgeable than I've ever experienced in a shoe store. I had persistent feet and knee discomfort before going to Comfort Plus and getting fitted for a few pairs of new shoes. I have not had any since. They have athletic shoes, dress shoes, sandals, etc. I love this place!

What a great experience all together!!! From the moment I entered the store I was greeted with a warm welcome of hellos and smiles, to the attentive service. They listened to my issues, and gave me great direction in the shoes that would cure my sore feet. I also talked with the salesperson about my golf shoes, and I have a special order of new golf shoes coming in next week. I cant wait to see how they will improve my game. The old uncomfortable Foot Joy that crushes my little toe will soon find the garbage can!!! Thank you to all of the incredible staff for their patience, and personalized service!

I went here to get some work out shoes since my feet where aching. I was absolutely amazed at the time and care Makelle took in helping me. She was also super informative! I learned so much about the specific care my feet needed. There are also very noticeable changes in my feet since I started wearing these shoes (with orthotics). My husband and I came back a few days later to get him some amazing shoes as well (with very amazing care from Luis this time)! I even got myself some work shoes. We are both ultra satisfied and highly recommend!!!

I've been a Comfort Plus customer for years. Their selection of quality, import brands is the best. The prices are naturally higher than big box stores, but the quality and durability of their shoes make up for the price difference. Makelle Berry was extremely helpful with my elderly mother. She was so patient with her. She spent at least an hour with her. I felt badly because my mother didn't make a purchase only due to another shoe elsewhere that was more comfortable. Makelle listened, made suggetions, and was beyond sweet. We will go there again and this time make a purchase.
