Super cute park with a ship for a play structure. My kids from 2-9yrs were able to easily play here. Good amount of seating around structure. A couple picnic areas. Close to small fishing pond with dock. Short and long walking trails. Ample parking.

SMy son plays baseball here, we enjoy playing at the neat park before and after games. I wish the snack booth was open during all games.

Oregon trail park is very good for children and adults alike. It has many fun things like a park, baseball fields, a place to play beach volleyball, a walking trail, a lake, etc. It's also a great place to play with a pet as there is a big open field between the baseball fields and volleyball court. Great park.

There are a multitude of slides, tunnels, and sets of stairs/ladders. Children of all ages can have a blast here. There is a pond nearby, so do keep an eye on the little ones. Aside from that, the parking is nice and the playground is stellar. There are even benches surrounding the park, in case you need to take a break.

Another great Olathe park. I want to watch my grandson play baseball. The park was very well maintained. I do wish the playground was closer to the ball fields to allow me to entertain one grandson while watching the other.

Well-kept small park, with a nice pond, paved trails, and fitness equipment, as well as playground equipment. There is an active set of railroad tracks on one edge and roads on two other sides, so not the best place for unattended children and pets.

This park is great. My kids love the "pirate" ships as they call them. It's convenient to the baseball fields we use during baseball season.

I am currently residing within visual distance from this park but I haven't visited since I was 15 very late one night with my first-ish girlfriend. Don't get ahead of yourself...dirty minds! lol it's a nice park that seems have been forgotten by most Olathians(?) but not the city. That means that it's taken care of but isn't ever overcrowded, crowded, or even currently in use by anyone. Want a good and clean park to visit with your miniature germ clones without dealing with the issues of most other parks? Like humans... This is the park for you. Have social anxiety and still need a park within your world of purposeful loneliness? It's perfect! It has a massively huge parking lot for some unknown reason. But it too can be used for the RC car crowd without a major worry of getting ran over (the car not the person). The lot is long enough to have several runways operating at the same time if the local laws allow in that particular area. I think that's long enough for this review... I'll edit this review if it ever needs changing because of...uhh...changes...

Typical Olathe medium sized park. Its main draw is the baseball diamonds, but it also has two sand vollyball pits.
It sports two shelters both with about four picknic tables and large double sided grills.
The playground here is shaped like a boat for added novelty.
I don't know about the fish, but it does have a pond with small dock.
The walking paths here do include exercising equipment.

If you're into Ingress or Pokemon Go, your not gonna want to miss this park for it's portals/gym's.

We really enjoy this park. We use it for group gatherings because it is central to a lot of our crowd. We can reserve the shelter but most of the time we just show up and make it work.

Truly enjoyed my walk there. Saw a blue heron, mallard duck couple, a muskrat, and I believe an eagle flying the thermals way up high. I did do one of the side exercises the balance beam.

One of my kid's favorite parks in this part of Olathe. Like many others near our house it has a pirate theme, but this park usually has more kids at it so she can socialize more.

Nice little park with a short circuit trail (0.75 mi), a few work out stations, a nice pond with fountain, playground with sheltered benches and a few small baseball fields.
