Gordo's Restaurante Mexicano

Came here for lunch and the food was great. The waiter was great and had some great recommendations. It didn't take long for the food to come out and the vibe of the restaurant was great. Definitely will be coming back.

Gordo’s Restaurante is the perfect place for afternoon and evening drinks (especially margs!!). The rooftop patio offers a big-city atmosphere, making it easy to spend a couple of hours here. The food is also fast and delicious, plus the service is friendly and attentive. Love this place!

Husband and I were visiting town for our son’s sporting event and we love to try new and local restaurants.
Chicken chimichanga was juicy and delicious.
Rice and beans were yummy.
Chips were a tad stale but their salsa was amazing.
The white cheese dip was top notch too. Definitely coming back!!

Great food and tremendous staff. Abraham was most polite waiter we have had in amy environment. A little busy, Saturday after a Cats win, as such food service was a little slow. However the food quality and great taste, along with friendly staff, made it well worth the wait.

Our first visit here was wonderful. The rooftop dining was very cool - highly recommended if the weather permits. The service was a bit slow, though polite, but I wasn't in a hurry. The food more than made up for it. The chips, salsa and queso were as good as it gets. I tried some steak dish with queso on top (began with a P) - one of the finest Mexican dishes I've enjoyed. Altogether, we had a great experience.

Our waitress was awesome and handled my children well! If we had any issues or questions they were fixed right away! Oh and the food tasted really good! Definitely will be going back!

We sat on the rooftop which was busy because it was so nice outside. We had an amazing time! Food and drinks were delicious!! Other restaurants in aggieville should add rooftop dining to their facilities! Great place to relax and have some good food and margaritas

I have loved every dish I've tried at Gordo's. The carnitas is amazing. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My favorite Mexican food in town.

Great environment, fast service and amazing food!

Wonderful place for authentic Mexican food. Great decoration, great menu selections, and you will find all aspect of Mexican dishes here. I will recommend the Shrimp Tacos. It is light and super tasty. A perfect choice for lunch. Also, recommend Seafood Fajitas for dinner. Large portion and all sort of seafood selection make you want to order a drink.

The fajitas were excellent. Beer was cold. And the salsa was good. If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place to go. I'll be back very soon!

We frequent this place a lot and we LOVE IT HERE! We’ve been supporting as many local businesses as possible during the pandemic and we were super excited to order take out from gordos today. When we order to go food we typically expect a difference in the food because it does have to travel from the store to our home (I.e. moist fries, cooler temps, etc.) and this goes for all places we order from. But gordos is MAGIC and it tasted fresh and hot and delicious as if I were actually eating in the booths in their store! And they gave us chips and salsa to go with it! So thankful for gordos and the opportunity to support them!

Server was phenomenal, such a great inexpensive place, loved celebrating my graduation with my mother. Definitely recommend the rooftop.
