Olathe Lake Spray Pad

I’ve been in Olathe for several years but have never stopped here.
We came to visit with friends and the splash pad area was so neat. Kids had fun playing, the area was nice and clean. Lots of different areas to play for different ages. Happy we finally checked it out.

This is a great place for all ages. The kids will find new and different things to do in various areas of the water. Some areas are slippery so be careful. Water shoes are great and highly recommend. Lots of shade areas. Bring your lawn chairs and roller cooler. Also, bring snacks. The concession prices are so so. We were planning to spend 2 hours there and it ended up being 5 hours because the kids were having so much fun and the parents were happy and comfortable.

We absolutely love this place. So many things, activities for the kids to do with water play. Bring lots of sunblock, a blanket, sand toys, water toys and a picnic! They have a few tables scattered around and plenty of grassy ground for a floor picnic.

Our family of six loves the spray pad and sand pit. We bring our bag of sand toys our kids have fun for hours. Thanks to the City of Olathe for this updated and fun park!

Such a fun splash pad. We love doing Creek hikes so this was right up our alley. Such a unique concept and really spacious, lots of shade, the creek makes it fun for big and little kids

Fun free splash pad area! Our 1 and 3 yr old had a blast running through the fountains and playing in the "creek".

Very first time there and it was an awesome experience! The scenery and weather was great! The sunset was beautiful and had a really good time with my friend.

So relaxing. Love the creek that runs through the splash pad. Children playing while parents join in on the fun or watch while their children enjoy just being a kid. I wish all lakes had this type of recreational area. You can have a picnic while sitting by the creek listening to the water run. This will be our go to Summer spot from here on out. Thank you to whoever designed this beautiful getaway spot and it's free!

This is by far my daughter and I's favorite splash pad in the area!! It's so much fun for the kiddos and adults!! There's two spray pads, a large waterfall with a swim area, a rocky, water stream that maneuvers all through the park area, and a sand play area! It's right by the swim beach and you really don't need to even go to the swim beach because it has everything there and it's free! We bring our picnic stuff and spend hours there! Literally so much fun!!

This is a favorite outing in our family. The splash pad and creek are fun, but my toddler LOVES the sand. Even more perfect when you go on a weekend, and they have shaved ice near the beach 🏖

Phenomenal water area! Large water space, so even though there were lots of people there, didn't feel crowded. Bring puddle jumper/ life jacket for kids under 5 as there is a pool at the base of the rocky waterfall that is 3 feet in places.

Great place for the whole family. Not just during the spring and summer.

We didn't play at the park but were very impressed with the massive improvements made at the park. Great job, Olathe! You knocked this one out've the park. Wish my kids were still young enough to enjoy the play equipment but still excited for the other activities offered.

This place is so great! My boys absolutely love the waterfalls and stream leading to the splash pad. You can't beat this place...fun for hours every time!

Worth the drive from Leavenworth. Great park

There was lots of slime on the waterfalls so it was slippery trying to walk thru. Overall a beautiful area with lots of ways to cool off!

Great for the kiddos. Four kids, ranging 2-12yr old, and they all loved it.
