Excellent location in Olathe for this chain. Very nice and helpful staff, got all we ordered just right.

I had fish platter as did wifey. Fries were very good, highly recommended.

We also had a large order of cole slaw and brought some home for later.

Hush puppies are the greatest.

Wifey had her favorite, root beer float.

My husband and I decided to eat inside today and the cashier was outstanding. She offered us suggestions that made our meal better and the way she treated us was top notch customer service. I work in management and love when I see someone taking pride in what they do and do it well. Definitely will be coming back.

We come back to this long John’s because of the woman up front, she is the best thing ever, and very nice! She helped an older gentleman get to his seat and brought his food to him, with condiments and a drink, all while handling the drive through and front register! She is a great asset to all of us and I thank her for the very special service she so happily provides. And the food she serves is delicious! Thanks for another great dining experience!

Excellent hot fresh fried fish and shrimp. And the best Root beer in town.

I was happy this trip to LJS in Olathe. The last 3 times my food was horrible, my chicken was so greasy and can tell they refried it to make it hot. But today I took a chance and I was happily surprised! We got there at 3:30pm and placed our order in the drive-thru and she asked for us to pull into the drive-thru parking spot and she will bring our food out. 20 minutes later she came out with Fresh hot food! I would rather sit and wait if it's hot and fresh. It all was hot and fresh. And there was only one elderly woman doing everything! Taking orders,cooking,and bringing it to the vehicle. Total super woman!! Wanted to thank her for a awesome hot lunch!

Guys you need to visit this long john's location. Unfortunately or fortunately, its the only long john's left in the area. The gentalman named David is awesome and very positive. The manager is ver very approachable, believing, and takes extra effort to assist you in the best way possible! And the best and nostalgic part is the fresh food, and these people go out of their way to fulfill the fresh food requests. I never want long john's to go away from Kansas, and together we can support this business, so they don't have to close. Please visit here often, you won't be dissapointed. Long john's food is a special place for the midwest, and I have deep love for this place because my grand parents and family visited the place regularly together while I was growing up.

Food was great. We drove thru do not much else to report on.

Ms. Gina and her staff are always a breath of fresh air! The food is always fresh, and I'm always gladly willing to wait if necessary! Customer Service is on point and rare to find these days!

Atmosphere: Laid back but productive. I'll start by saying the fam and I went mid day, so it wasn't busy. We chose to dine in. The service was great. Fairly quick and (I hate that I forgot her name) The woman In charge that I talked to, she was very nice.
The food: Great fish and Chicken!! First time eating Long John Silver 's fish but omg guys, Breaded to perfection and so clean tasting!
Cole slaw and hush puppies great too, just the fries that didn't make my soul sing. Lol But everything else was sooo good it didn't matter. Also my kid got mini corn dogs and fries because we weren't sure if she'd like the fish, but she did too!
Building need updates but overall I'm still giving them 5 stars, because everyone should go here for fish and chicken.

It was just before their closing but they never let on that they were so tired and ready to close and had already starting cleaning. Their food was awesome and fresh and so great. I love their root beer so much. It's caffeine free and not carbonated!! But has the best flavor of any root beer I have ever tasted!

Cashier was one of the best and hardest working I have ever seen. Food quality was perfect!

We ate inside on the first Friday evening of Lent. They were slammed with business and short staffed. They could not keep up with the orders. But through it all the manager, who was the only cook, and the cashier kept a positive attitude and a smile on. They worked as hard as they could and treated all with respect. Took the food awhile but it was hot fresh and delicious. They get five stars for what they could control... attitude and quality.

Haven’t eaten the food yet, but rating 5 ⭐ purely based on the extremely kind and helpful woman running the front of house. There were 11 diners + a line of cars in the drive through with only two employees and they were on rocking it. Those two deserve a raise!

To be fair to this establishment and not to sound snobby, I didn't rate it. I only stopped in here to satisfy my craving for an A&W rootbeer float. And, true to the treat, I was satisfied! If there was a category for it, I would give it 5 stars!

Long John silver's is still pretty good this location. Unfortunately, the appearance is not as clean as it should. Great food good customer service.

The people were very friendly and helpful. Got my food very quickly & it was good.
Got my to go order when I was finished eating and didn't have to wait long for it either. And their dining room is open. Last time I went there it was not.

LJS is a childhood favorite of mine..... I still love the authentic flavor that it's been for ages.... Gina is awesome...... we've known her for years and her genuine customer service never disappoints!

My eyes were bigger than my stomach, but the food was so good, except for one minor thing I couldn't eat hardly any of my clams they were over cooked. The hushpuppies are still good here the next day.

Service was the best that I have had for awhile. She was very good. Happy with a smile and quick. She knew what she was doing. Top notch and ran the place well.
