El Mariachi Mexican Food & Cantina

Super high on my recommendation list. This restaurant time and time again is accurate, quick and delicious. Both eat in and carry out are great experiences.

Menu is just the right size for and not overwhelming. Certainly not.limiting, either. Busy Friday night delivered the food in 10 minutes. Love the house made tortilla chips right when we sat down.

KEEP THIS PLACE RUNNING people. It is definitely worth investing into to stick around for the ages.

Grilled Fish Tacos, with rice and black beans. This was really good! Had a margarita to top it off, sooo good! We'll be back!

A great place for amazing Mexican food. The pork might be a bit spicy for some. I like it, but my wife and kid think it's too hot. If you like spicy Mexican flavors and spices, it will be just fine for you. A great place to eat overall. The pork tamales are great! Get the street tacos for awesome soft tacos. Please be patient with the wait staff. They are a bit low on employees, but the food overcomes that. Just sit back and enjoy the time with friends and families.

Our food was amazing, the portions were huge!! We ate until we were stuffed and it didn’t even seem like we made a dent in our food! The owners are so sweet and attentive, they really make you feel like family. We will definitely be recommending this spot to all our friends!!

Been here about half a dozen times and every time the food and service has been awesome! The dishes have always been freshly made and just packed with food. The chimichanga and quesadillas are my personal favorites and the menudo they serve on Sundays is also fantastic. The queso (they call it Mariachi Dip) is also probably the best I've had in Olathe, it just has a kick to it that I don't see at other places nearby. The service can be a little slow sometimes, but the quality of the food for the price you pay is well worth it!

Want authentic Mexican food? This place is amazing. The portions are huge. The meat is so tender and juicy. I had the street tacos and a burrito. The 🌯 was as bigs as my forearm i swear. It was so good. The waitress Laura was amazing and as a foodie and blogger I found this resturaunt very friendly. Laura sat down for a few minutes to answer some of my questions for my video. The owners wife made her rounds talking to different people. I loved it. I spent under 20.00 for food and drinks. And was so full I had left over for dinner. I plan to come back and try different tacos this time. Thanks for the most amazing experience ! I rated the food 5 stars, the experience 5 stars!

With everyone social distancing, we decided to get some carryout for our first try of El Mariachi. The food was fantastic and the portions sizes are great. Everyone in our family just loved the food. We are looking forward to being able to dine-in and try the margaritas.

hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the Kansas City metro area as far as I'm concerned. I truly believe this is the first time I've had quality Mexican food since I lived in my farmer/valley hometown in California. Service was excellent, margaritas are fresh and im actually looking forward to telling friends and family about the great overall experience of a restaurant! I'll be back with a party next time ;)

Great food, good atmosphere and wonderful staff. I personally love their chips also! I haven't had something off their menu that wasn't wonderful and they are always so kind to my family (and little kiddos)

Fresh, new clean and upbeat Mexican restaurant in a strip mall. Interesting choices we haven't seen in other local Mexican restaurants, including a sort of spaghetti in a bean sauce offered as a side option. We were there on "national Margarita day" and there was a line, yet the wait staff remained positive and friendly.

Everything I've tried here has been great! The barbacoa tacos are my favorite. Although they are short-handed the staff is always friendly and food always comes out hot, correct, and delicious.

Went Mother's Day morning for menudo. It was Delicious & a huge bowl for $7.99 or regular bowl (still BIG) for $5.99. The owner, Josephina, came over to our table and chatted with us and was the Hostess with the most! She turned my day into something terrific! Friendly, accommodating, gracious. Nice clean decor, tempting menu with all the usual Mexican fare. No breakfast (at least not today or on the menu that I could see) I will be going back.

Great service every single time. The heavier gentleman is an absolutely great waiter. The food is the absolute best priced and taste just as good if not better than any other Mexican restaurant in the KC Metro area.

The food was phenomenal unlike k machos aka casa bonita without a diver. I got the cream cheese enchiladas and they were actually hot (unlike cassa bonita’s). I did seriously love this place the food and service was great (unlike cassa bonita’s besides the diver). The only thing i wish i did have was a table next to the 12 foot pond at cassa bonita’s where i can get splashed.

I love how attentive they are! The owner walks around and makes convo with the customers! Making sure everything is ok! Try the Shrimp Tacos!! And the Molcajete!! It’s to die for!! Super amazing people and amazing flavor!! Super clean as well!!

I'll give em 5 stars. Food is pretty good. Maybe not phenomenal but I found it very very good. They were polite and helpful as well...so ya. I'd recommend.

Very impressive. Food was excellent and so were the prices. Service a little slow as they were understaffed due to Covid. Will definitely visit again

I love this place! The food is authentic, always fresh and of course delicious! The customer service is also the icing on the cake! My new favorite spot to eat.
