Shawnee Crossings Dental Care

We have been going to Shawnee Dental Crossings for many years and wouldn’t trust our dental care to anyone but Dr. Cathy. She is professional, caring and does amazing dental work. She is at the very top of her profession.

I drive 40 miles to see Dr. Cathy and and her staff. I do this because I trust them. They are honest about what needs to be done and will make sure everything they do is done the right way. They are awesome to talk with and they get to know their patients and the needs of the patients. If you are like me, and you have a fear of the dentist, I highly recommend going to Shawnee Crossings. It is worth the 40 min drive I make!

Unparalleled. My husband was slated for seven crowns with previous dentists. He saw Dr. Cathy, she restored his teeth with no crowns, and her work is stunning and perfect. When you walk in, there’s no fluff, no advertising. She’s passionate about straight dental work— and she’s basically a neurosurgeon/Da Vinci hybrid. No marketing, no unnecessary and expensive technology plugs. She and her staff are so dedicated, kind, trustworthy. This office is diamond grade dentistry, like I’ve never seen after going through at least a dozen other dentists between my husband and I over the years.

Very welcoming, professional and thorough! I was greeted with a warm smile. Dr. Cathy and Hannah were both VERY thorough in explaining everything that they were doing and giving good preface ahead of time. Despite the occasional spray of water (because you're in a dental office) and having to wait a few extra minutes because of an exam that ran late and needed extra hands, I was VERY pleased to have chosen them as my new dentist after living out of state for many years. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cathy!

Dr Cathy is wonderful. After struggling with finding the right place for me and my growing family… this place feels just right. She’s honest and super nice. She gives a lot of attention to details. I feel safe here. You won’t be disappointed.

RETURNING PATIENT: Without a doubt, at my first appointment with Dr. Cathy, a couple of years ago, I received the best Dental Exam I have ever received in my life (and let me tell you, that is a long time). I just thought I had a good dentist in Texas - and now I find out he just wasn't that great. Besides doing excellent work, Dr. Cathy shows you before and after pictures of her work, at least she did for me while performing what I would call semi-serious dental restorations. Pictures don't lie, I couldn't believe the difference. I strongly recommend you consider making her your Dentist - she is mine. And maybe I should not be saying this, but don't let her unpronounceable last name fool you - excellent English. ron in Kansas

I have been going to Dr. Cathy Upeckquat and Hanna for 10+. You are receiving top notch service, their transparency , helpfulness, compassion and love for the work that they do is evident. I am grateful to have these two personable ladies taking care of me teeth.

We love this office! Everyone is so nice, professional, and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They are fabulous with my boys who are now 7 and 11 but they've had Dr Cathy their whole lives. They are great office for the entire family. They do a great job at scheduling appointments appropriately; they respect your time and don't overbook their clients. We have never had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room, and even that is a rarity. We would definitely recommend this office!

The entire trip made me comfortable, especially when the injections started! Haha! I hate needles, but NO pain from them. Dr Kathy explained everything before, during and afterwards. Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. One of my best experiences with a dentist. Thx you everyone at Shawnee Crossings!

These reviews can be very cliche for the most part. While Dr. Cathy has state-of-the-art equipment of which anyone can buy and advertise that they are top of the line. Dr. Cathy and her staff elevate that standard to a level unmatched by any other dentist I have been to in 54 years, 5 states and 2 countries.

Dr. Cathy and her staff are all amazing. I've been visiting this office for over 8 years, even after moving across town because they have exceptional standards in their quality of care. I've never had an issue with any dental work from Dr. Cathy and am confident I'm always getting the best opinion when it comes to treatment options for my dental care.

My husband and I are longtime patients of Dr. Cathy's. She has also cared for our daughters (now 12 and 13) since their first dental appointments. The care provided both by Dr. Cathy and her hygienist, Hannah, is high quality, personalized and patient-centered. The practice focuses on excellent general dentistry, preventive care and early detection of problems - no pushy cosmetic sales or unnecessary treatment recommendations. I have recommended this practice to many friends without reservation.

This dental clinic is awesome! All the staff are very kind and courteous and caring people . They always listen to my concerns , explain procedures , review exam results and show me pictures of what needs to be dealt with . I love the way Dr. Cathy frequently checks in with me during a procedure to see if I’m ok .They also take the hastle out of navigating what is or isn’t covered with my insurance so I can prepare to pay my part .
