Coach's Bar & Grill - 135th

We had 16 people, half of them children, and split across 4 different bills. The efficiency with which the ordering process was handled was stunning. This was the best restaurant experience I've had in at least a year, even compared to dining parties of just 2 or 3. On top of that, the food came out relatively quickly and it was all good. The onion straws were light and crispy, and the buffalo chicken wrap was actually kinda spicy. The only weird thing was that the sweet potato fries seemed to have brown sugar or something sweet on them, but fortunately we had a southwest dressing that went better with them than just ranch.

A better overall rating would be 7/5.

We had an early lunch on the patio. Our waitress was quick and polite. Food was great! Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries It was super flavorful and cooked to perfection. We had one issue with the food. My mother-in-law had ordered their homemade chips. The first batch that came out was just overly greasy for her liking. She explained to the server, and without hesitation the server politely offered to make her a new batch. Great customer service. Would love to check out the patio in the evening. They have several areas to sit along with fire pits It just looks like it would be a fun atmosphere. Excited to try it again!

I use to go to coach on wornell, it’s been awhile and since I was in the neighborhood, looked on line and today special was fish or catfish, I came in opening at the bar! It’s after 1 pm so lunch crowd was gone! Always busy! Regular came in! Bar staff was friendly and I may have to stop in more often! This place is easy to get in! It’s right across from Hy-vee gas station and quick trip

Went around 5 and found a table on the roof patio. Food was delicious. Enjoyed a variety of appetizers with friends. Service was exceptional. My only complaint is they don’t do happy hour on the roof patio, but I can understand why.

The service was outstanding. Probably 7 different people asked if they could get us anything. There’s good music playing in the background but it’s not overly loud like some other places. You can definitely have a conversation while having dinner. Everything is clean including bathrooms. It’s a step above other bars/grills in the area. Definitely recommend for a low key, relaxed dinner or drinks.

Great place to watch the Chiefs-lots of screens. Our server was friendly and very good. The food was pub fare and excellent.

Hands down the best sports bar food in KC. Coach’s has a wide variety of options, including all the bar food classics you would expect. The Buffalo chicken dip is outstanding and the Chicken Pecan salad is a family favorite. The sweet potato fries are a must! Coach’s has catered multiple parties for our family and the food and service was outstanding. Rooftop patio is the best setting for an outdoor happy hour in OP - multiple fire pits, full bar, TVs everywhere, and numerous tables. Run by a great family with great service!!! Highly recommend.

Wanted to watch the Chiefs playoff game and Coach's had a table available. Glad we stopped by because the food was great and the service was even better for the place being packed. Great football themed drinks as well. If you are wanting to watch a game with a group of others fans, Coach's is a place you need to stop by.

I loved Coach's at the old location (was near my old job) but now I love it more because they're closer to my house and new job!

Please, I'm begging you, NEVER get rid of your bruschetta - it is 100% the best I've ever had and I would be devastated if it was ever removed from the menu (not joking)

I reserved a room to host a large group at this location and this Coach's team did an AMAZING job!! The staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating, fast and accurate drink service, and the kitchen staff turned out some delicious food on on the fly so everyone ALWAYS had hot food on their plates. Will DEFINITELY be coming back. HIGHLY recommend for all occasions.

We hosted a large group event at Coach's last week and everything went wonderfully! Spencer and team are fantastic to work with. The service was excellent and food was great! Highly recommend.

One of my favorite places to watch games and hang out. Bar and wait staff are very friendly and good people. Their service and quality are consistent and good. I think every item I've gotten there I've liked!

Great spot close to baseball and soccer fields for a quick bite between games. Chicken Gizzards were a pleasant surprise.

We had a party of about 30+. Thank you Jenny making sure everything was setup and ready to go. Kendall was our waitress. First, we thought, only one person to serve all of us? Well, she kicked azz. She was on it. Made sure those who walked in got drink orders right away. She didn't stop moving the entire time. All food orders came out quickly and right. So thank you again Kendall, you were awesome. Also thanks to the cooking staff and the food runners. We had a great time!

Awesome location food, drinks, service, and patio. This place a a great Overland Park staple with tons of great food choices and drinks. With a beautiful upstairs outdoor patio with fire pits, umbrellas, and plant decor it's a beautiful place to watch the sunset and have drinks. Lots of tv's to watch any sports games both downstairs and upstairs. Highly recommend coming here for group events or even just a couple friends.

Visiting from out of town and met a group of friends on the rooftop. Such a fun atmosphere! Lots of space, beautiful firepit seating areas, delicious appetizers and the bar tender was extremely fast/kind. We'll be back! Thank you!

Patty melt was delicious!!! Service was good. Beer was cold
