Chang's Wok

Second time to Changs Wok and I couldn't be happier! Tonite I ordered the Mongolian beef and subbed rice for lo mein. So FREAKING good! The beef and mushrooms were delicious. The beef, super tender, very nice protein to veggie ratio. The lo mein was a perfect substitute but if you love rice go for it. I imagine it's just as good. Also added a side of crab rangoon and pork egg rolls. Both were fresh, hot and delicious. I forgot to add a side of spicy mustard and cup of sweet and sour. Tried to purchase some when I picked up my order, but the sweet lady who helped me threw in an extra sweet and sour and a little cup of hot mustard. Thank you! Can't wait to try some other items.

They don't have dine in experience, but the food it's so good and it's worth it to even go get it yourself but delivery would be the easiest way!!

Very fast service, huge portions and at a great price! My wife and I got our food in less than ten minutes after placing our order. (All orders are to go) Two full dinner meals for less than $25 she got Chicken Lo Mein and I got Mu Shu Pork- and they were both delicious! We’re definitely coming back here!

This is the best Chinese restaurant in KC. I cannot eat anywhere else. I don't know what they do but the food is the best here.

Update (19 Oct 2023): looks like new ownership has found its footing. They are putting out the same quality food and service I have come to know and love from Chang's for the last several years.

I've ordered from here hundreds of times for myself or my entire family and they've never screwed my order up. Not even once. Delivery is fast and the food is hot and delicious.

No complaints! I just wish they had a dine- in option. Love this place!

Ordered takeout tonight 6/14/23. I’m not sure if they got a new cook but the meal was the best we’ve ever had there. Kudos to the chef!! Had the Hunan chicken, egg roll, crab Rangoon, fried rice & Hot and Sour soup😋

Best Chinese spot in Kansas. Seriously. If you like Mushrooms, order the Mongolian Beef. He does his own take and it’s the best thing ever.

I've been meaning to leave a review about this place but given what happened with this order I need to leave one. So we got our usual and I'm not sure what happened but our order for delivery wasn't here. So I called to check the status and they said they delivered it but nothing outside. They said they would make another order but instead of them delivering it I just went ahead and picked it up. They were so nice and apologized for the mixup...I get back home and the food was at the right building but the wrong apartment and since it was at night I didn't see it as I was hastily driving to them to make sure I got to them before they closed so I apologized repeatedly because if I would've just stopped and looked i would've seen it at the other door lol. This place is awesome, the staff was really nice and their food is ALWAYS good! I definitely recommend this place, we are repeat customers and will keep ordering from here! Best Chinese we've had since we've moved here!

I Love Love Love this place. The food is so good and Always Fresh and Hot. I used to work near here and visited often but now that I've moved out of state I MUST stop whenever I am passing through the area to get food. They give you a good amount of food that can be had for more then one meal for a fair price as well.

I cannot believe I've lived and worked in proximity to this place and didn't know about it sooner. A coworker suggested it back in November and I've been totally hooked ever since. The prices are great for the portion size, and the flavors are just right. I never thought I'd be actively enthused about beef and string beans, yet here I am, writing this review and thinking I should get a delivery group together tomorrow for Chang's. Very much a step above what I normally expect from storefront Chinese carryout!

I have never had a bad meal. The orange chicken is very tangy with orange zest you can see. The honey chicken is my favorite entree. The crab Rangoon is always creamy, crispy, and fresh tasting. They are very nice when I'm there. I would not order online as there is a charge for that, so I would call in and carry out, as there are only two tables and the place is small but always super busy with to go orders. Great food and always friendly.

The food quality is amazing! I absolutely love Chinese food and this place does not disappoint. It's got all my favorites and the whole family loves it when we go to get takeout. The prices are great for the amount and quality, and the cook time is super fast. I have recommended this place to all my friends and will continue to do so. It's my absolute favorite Chinese place.

This is no doubt the best place for fast Chinese food. I have been going to Chang's since they opened. I used to work in the strip mall. They have ALWAYS...been super friendly and ALWAYS... great food. You never have to wonder what kind of meat is under all that breading on their general toas, they always use white chicken breast. They never forget my daughters chop sticks and we don't have to ask because they always remember us. I recommend this place to everyone all the time. I have never been disappointed and if I were I'm sure they would make it right.

I've been coming here for months and probably always will.... Panda Express has NOTHING on Chang's Wok. Makes their food taste like McDonald's. Their lunch specials are inexpensive and they are quick to get your food out with the highest quality. I've referred them to many people in the office and they feel the same way!!! I love your food!!!!

My husband and I recently moved to the area and were struggling to find a decent Chinese place. We each travel quite a bit for work and generally put in 65-75 hour work weeks, which means we eat our share of takeout. I decided to order one night from Chang's Wok since they had online ordering and deliver. Holy wow, was I impressed! The order was delivered 10-15 minutes earlier than the estimated time, the delivery guy was very polite and not creepy the way many are, and the food was still piping hot. The portions are VERY generous ( I exercise a LOT and eat 4000-5000 calories a day) - I got 3 full meals out of my individual meal. The food has a very authentic feel and is absolutely amazing. Everything from beginning to end is perfect and the food is absolutely amazing - cannot say enough good things about that first experience and the many that have followed since.

My favorite place for the last ten years and still going strong. You Always get more then you can eat and its Always fresh. Always get 5 stars. It's the real deal. I eat here once or 3 times a week.

During COVID this is our go to Chinese food source. Their portions are big enough we usually make two meals out of them, and the quality of their meat and veggies is excellent. The meals are ready within 15 minutes of ordering and the pick up is easy.

I have no complaints. Awesome chinese place. Call in for carry out, the conversation is quick, precise, and efficient. I call in my order while I drive to pick it up they are that fast. The food is cooked fresh in front of you, you have a full view of their kitchen. Staff is polite and to the point. Foods cheap and delicious. They give you a plentiful amount, enough to feed one hungry boi or share between 2 people. And the to go containers make nice reusable Tupperware! 5 star restaurant.

Always fantastic food. ONE of our favorite places to get carry out EVER!!! My GF and I absolutely love the lo mein. The quick service. The easy transaction of ordering by phone aND picking it up within 15 minutes and it's always hot and ready. Good customer service and very nice prices.
