What do you want from a diner? Good food or great atmosphere? As for me…it’s the food. And I wasn’t disappointed with the wonderful corned beef hash. Blew my calories for the day, but it was worth it.

Notables: corned beef has was great, like I remember as a kid-and that’s saying a lot.

I picked English muffin and thought a muffin was a muffin, but this crunchy crusted top reminded me of golden has browns….which btw were crispy and golden.

Go for the food. It’s traditional plan diner atmosphere but why not. Go for great food.

Food was super delicious. Our server was amazing also. We were a good of 7 and she handled a larger group very well. The atmosphere was very small town and homey. The restaurant needs some upgrades but overall a great experience.

Delicious breakfast! From the pancakes, cinnamon French toast to eggs and bacon -perfection and super large portions! Server was quick and accurate and never let my coffee go dry!

A very nice surprise. We stopped to get a Christmas 🎄 gift card & ate while we were there. Service was very upbeat & friendly, food was delicious, atmosphere was not fancy but very busy... More like a Mom'n Pop type of place! Great Onion Rings & nice selection of Homemade pies. We will go there again. 😊

No frills restaurant BUT...the food was amazing, the service was fast, the portions are HUGE the prices are great. 10/10!!! We were just passing through town but if I lived in Salina I would live at this place. Excellent experience. If youcan, EAT HERE OFTEN!!!

Classic hometown fiber and wonderful food. The portions are awesome and the staff knows how to keep a coffee cup full!!! If you're posting through our starting in Salina THIS is the place you should be having your meals!!!

This is a place where you can take your time to eat very peaceful and the service is very polite and the best of all the price is right and the portion are big.
You can either call to order a take out or sitting there.

Great breakfast choice. They were extremely friendly in accomodating our group of 7 during a busy part of the day, fast service and great breakfast. We had a small issue with one dish and they took care of us well and made it right. Great asset to the community.

This is one of our favorite places for a real sit down meal experience. Breakfast is what we usually go for. The portions are large and flavorful. I particularly like their Fencer omelets or if I'm really hungry, their smoked porkchop breakfast.

Bayards is one of Salina's best spots for getting a good meal at a very reasonable price. They offer a small town, sit down café atmosphere, with a very personable staff. I eat there, often during the weekend, with my family, and can always find something everyone likes thanks to their extensive menu. My family also always leave full, thanks to their larger portion sizes.

Overall, the establishment has charm, good food, affordable prices, and enough options for everyone to find something they enjoy.
