Surge Fitness Center

Me and my son go to this gym because my son didn’t like gyms like Planet Fitness or LA Fitness. They are overcrowded and you always gotta wait for a machine which is always sweaty. Surge seems like it’s your own personal gym! Everyone that works there greets you and they have great customer service skills,
Especially Nate because he was so helpful and took his time with us. The whole gym is clean including locker rooms and showers. They have all the drinks you need in the vending machine and they only charge $2. They have classes, massages and much more! Thanks Nate and we will be back every week.

I have been a member at Surge Fitness Center since March 2022. I love the dedication that Jillian has put into this facility. I feel very comfortable here compared to other gym facilities that have multiple locations. This is a family owned facility. I also want to thank my personal trainer Kathy Duenzl for helping me achieve better lifestyle and fitness goals. Thank You Kathy!

Nice gym! Love the hydra massage and red light therapy. I come here for those after swimming. Plan on doing some classes soon. Staff are lovely.

Love this place. Daily / monthly membership fees are very affordable. Gym quality is very good.. Nice, clean, everything works. I’ve been here a few times and only once did I have to wait a few minutes for the rack. Almost never too busy. Friendly customer service. Clean locker room & showers. Definitely recommend.

Friendly, clean, great amenities. Yoga is by candlelight, love that. Tanning too

Low-key, no pressure atmosphere. Plenty of workout options with so many aerobic and resistance machines and tv screens. Love the Zumba class

Surge Fitness is a great place with a good assortment of equipment and a clean environment.

Clean gym. The staff is really friendly and helpful. There’s enough equipment where you don’t have to wait even during busy times.
I just wish they would be open 1 hour later during the week!

I joined Surge recently and my expectations have been exceeded. The equipment is very new and the gym is immaculate. Gina, the staff member at the front desk, is readily available to answer any questions about the equipment or other aspects of the gym. She remembers everyone’s name and this helps to make it a welcoming environment.

Awesome gym with new, clean equipment and friendly staff. Membership was easy to sign up for and you can sign up online or in the gym, lots of membership options too.

The Surge Fitness staff and facility are terrific. The staff is very welcoming an attentive. The facility is large and well equipped for both serious weight lifting and more aerobic casual workouts. Fitness community is made of a broad range of ages and stages of fitness. Nice place.

I had a great experience at Surge! I was really excited to try a new gym and it blew away my expectations. Super friendly staff that are willing to help you reach your fitness goals and passionate about what they do. Super clean and welcoming environment. Can't wait to go back! :)

Surge Fitness Center is the friendliest, cleanliest, and most affordable fitness center around. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm and energetic welcome. The equipment is brand new, state of the art, and there is plenty available so you don't have to wait and continue to work up a sweat.

My husband and I joined Surge last month and we absolutely love it. It’s a beautiful, clean, amazing environment. If you live in North Haven it’s a must to join! Great equipment, hydro massages, and a free coffee bar (our favorite part of working out ;) 5 stars for Surge!!

Phenomenal local gym, clean and organized. Plenty of equipment and space, staff is friendly especially the owner and the morning crew. Weights and cardio machines always available, plenty of parking and the gym has that good quality feel to eat. I’m so happy to always see staff scan in the floor checking cleanliness.

My 2020 resolution what “join and actually go to the gym”.... I didn’t want to go back to the “other” gyms that I belonged to for many years until my 6+ hiatus!

So I was determined to find the perfect place that was convenient, clean, cutting edge and inviting!

And then SURGE opened! It is the perfect fit! All is welcomed and it has been about 2 months and I am going strong!!!

So thank you Jillian for the morning smiles and for running an amazing gym!

Since joining a few weeks ago, I’ve been enjoying Surge’s shiny new facility and state-of-the-art equipment. This past week, I signed up for personal training with Kathy. I’ve had two sessions so far and Kathy’s been great. She is extremely knowledgeable about fitness, very upbeat, and fun to train with. I also used the HydroMassage chair, which feels great after a workout. - Erin
