A beautiful older church in downtown Salina with an active congregation of young and old alike. Classrooms for most all age groups, dedicated youth room for high school youth group. Choir, handbells, instrumentals, lots of ways to get involved in worship services and ministry activities outside of just Sunday. The Methodist Church is organized very well, with lots of committees with different jobs to focus on, in a very democratic process. The denominational motto for many years has been "open minds, open hearts, open doors". Methodists as a whole are very accepting and loving, just as Christ calls us to be as all Christians - not perfect, just loving others. Conservative, Bible-based, and loving. Come try it out and join in praise with this church.

This is a great church. The people are friendly. Now is a strange time because only 32 people can go to each service and you have to make reservations on you phone or watch on Facebook or u tube. Go-to firstunitedmethodist.com later this month they are having a service in Oakdale Park at the Stiefel stage and everyone can come.

Methodist Church provides free lunch bags for the homeless, and showers as well. Great place to be if in need.....

The women that I spoke with were very polite and helpful. I went there with a friend who needed some emergency services. If you or you know anybody in of emergency services contact this church and see if they can assist you in any way.
