The Garage Automotive Museum

We enjoyed our stop in the summer of 2023 and plan to go again in 2024. The cars were very fun to look at, and my young kids (under 10) enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and helped us use the VR tools for painting and welding.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It’s an amazing collection of incredible cars you may never see again. The staff is also amazing. Love this place. Affordable and super clean. Cars for kids to play with and certain cars you can get in for photos. There are also several simulators that are really fun. I also love the location in the super cute town of Salina. We can’t wait to go back.

I drove to Salina to The Garage Automobile Museum to see the Chevrolet Corvette road show before it ended. There was a nice selection of Corvettes, C1 to C8 models, to view. I enjoyed reading the story boards on all the cars. Lots of history to read.
Over on the other side of the building was the Rod and Custom museum. Very nice examples of some of the custom work that's done in the training center. Jay Leno has shown interest in that area.
The facility has a lot to offer with the multiple displays in the museum, gift/souvenir shop, and Beer and Wine service area. It's well worth the drive to see it. Oh, the 1990 Corvette convertible out in front of the building was my favorite 😉👍.

The fabulous 50's exhibit currently running is great! Is there any way the museum can include the estimated value of the vehicles in 2024? I Visited today and thoroughly enjoyed this exciting museum. Yes, I said exciting. If you love cars, there is something for everyone including the kids. The interactive stations are so much fun.

Such a fantastic place to visit and bring friends, family, and kids to get inspired about the automotive industry. Such a gem to have found. I am fortunate enough to have a wife who took me here as part of my birthday gift as a 30 year old. Virtual painting and welding booth were some of my favorite exhibits.

My wife and I visited The Garage on Sat 10/21/2023 with our local Corvette club, the Central Kansas Corvette Assn. from Hutchinson, KS as part of the museum's "Corvette Club Cruise-In Challenge," and we had an absolute ball. This was our first visit to The Garage and we were hugely impressed with every aspect of our experience. Major props to all involved for creating and maintaining such a first-class automotive museum. We will definitely be back!

I visited during their changeover and they were closed, but I was able to give them a quick hand unloading a few new displays and they were nice enough to let me do a quick walk through. It was very impressive the size and quantity of the displays as well as having a large number of interactive exhibits. I will be back!!

Very impressed, well laid out, the attention to detail is very exceptional. The inside is clean, spacious, and very well thought out. This is a must-see place for the whole family whether your a local, passing through, or visiting from out of town, it will not disappoint. Admission is very affordable and well worth the price. Lots to do, with a learning center, to a nice gift shop, and even a library. Activities as well for the kids of all ages, a Lego play center, interactive activities. They thought of it all when it came to design. You can even enjoy an alcoholic beverage at the swipe and pour refreshment center with wine and beer. There is also a nice snack bar with sodas, candy, and chips.
Take the time and visit this wonderful gem in salina kansas.

Great place to go to! Amazing vehicles to look at as adults, and people that appreciate cars/trucks. Also amazing interactive things for the kids! They had a whole table to Legos that you could build with, a huge Hot Wheels table with many choices to play with, VR auto painting and welding, and a driving simulator. The only negative I found was you have to by 4'9" to do he simulator, but its understandable. It is an expensive piece of equipment, and they have to keep it nice for all.

Great museum if you are into vehicles. Kid friendly with hands on items for kids to enjoy throughout the museum. Welding and painting simulators were pretty neat.

I loved my experience, although it was pricey it was fun especially the whip lash machine and the racing. The ten minutes wait was because I was on a school trip. Do recommend going. Enjoy.

Absolutely cool museum. Very welcoming staff and very professional. Let’s not forget the beer and wine. Enjoy views and sib some brews. Rotation of new vehicles quarterly so that you’re not seeing the same vehicles all year round. Awesome feature! All around, Great experience.

I like how the exhibits are rotating! The volunteers on the floor are really nice and willing to talk to you about all kinds of cars etc. Wish it was bigger!

So much to see and do! The whole family enjoyed it. I loved all the hands on options from building with Legos to VR!

Great Spot to check out some Sweet cars and learn about Automotive history. The interactive areas were also a pleasant surprise! I am Glad to have this added to our regular daytrip choices for the area! Can't wait to see other cars that will come through this museum in the future!

Amazing collection of top-notch rides! Super friendly and very knowledgeable staff eager to visit with you about the cars, the personal history of the cars, and about the museum itself and its history and connection to the area.

If you are an automobile enthusiast this is a great museum. The exhibits change every few months. Always something new to see.
