From a wheelchair accessible perspective, this hotel gets only my third ever 5star review. The room is closest to the front lobby and everything in the room design is very easy to access by myself.
A very well done non accessible item is the ability to charge two essential devices and my phone without having to dig for outlets and unplug other things.

I seriously believe that hotels are competing against each other, and they pay people to write bad reviews!! My company put me here for a week and after reading the reviews for LA Quinta Inn in Salina I was dreading staying there. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly young lady at the front desk. While she checked me in I was looking around the lobby. It was clean and had a fresh smell. It's a bit outdated but I'm ok with that as long as it was clean. I had my two cats with me, A one time fee of $25 up to 2 pets. That was a pleasant surprise, all the other ones in the area either didn't allow cats or there was a per day fee. The room was nice enough, I liked that there was no carpet since I had my cats with me. The room had a nice smell and it was clean so I guess bottom line is you can't always trust the reviews because there is nothing wrong with this place.

Stopped here on a long road trip and it was one of the nicer budget hotels (even among the chain) I’ve stayed at. The staff was helpful and understanding, even after i locked myself out of my room 20 minutes after arrival.

Our room was clean and large with a gorgeous bathroom. It honestly looked like a higher end hotel, with a wood and granite vanity and large tiled shower.

They accept pets (cats and dogs!) and we didn’t have any issues.

Additionally, the breakfast was great. There was a combination of hot and cold items, including biscuits and gravy and waffles.

Considering the lower price we paid and the location, I wasn’t expecting a ton but this exceeded expectations.

The staff including the front desk, manager, maintenance and breakfast area personnel were all very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We were impressed with the upgrades to the rooms and public areas. We also appreciated the pet-friendly aspect at a reasonable cost. We'll be back.

Very accessible to highway and food. Very clean and updated furnishings which is standard for Wyndham properties. The staff were very accessible, professional and friendly. It is obvious that they enjoy working at this facility.

Great location, very clean, updated. Aaron at front desk is exceptional! Our room was clean and beautiful! We enjoy the upgraded rooms for being elite / platinum members.
This location is privately owned, and the manager / owner takes pride in and responsibility for the hotel. The upkeep shows the pride they take in this La Quinta. We had a small plumbing issue shortly after arriving, and Aaron accommodated us well, called the manager - or owner- and instead of just apologizing, they took responsibility for their hotel and comped us generously.
The beds were so comfy, lots of space in the 2 room suite, very large bathroom. The hallways and stairwells were very clean, too. Newer machines in laundry room, great prices too. Beautiful flower arrangement in room, beautiful new decor. We saved this location to our favorites and will visit again.

I stayed in room 210 it had stuffy smell to the room. The shower valve is tricky, the drain plug doesn’t want to stay up, and apparently someone needs to pull the hair out of the drain because the water stays puddled in the tub well after you are done. Towels are nice and fluffy, I love the smell of the Shampoo and Condition; lathers really good too. The bathroom doesn’t have a ventilation system so get quiet steamy. TV is small I had been in other hotels with larger TVs. The entry light flickered a few times before staying lite same for the bathroom light. Apparently they have a electrical problem. Very up to date alarm system that is bluetooth and had usb ports. The bed is comfortable however, the pillows are fluffed up but they smash out to hardly anything to put your head on. Walls are thin I even smelled a mans cologne in my room so strong that I thought he was in my room. Breakfast had a nice selection. I would recommend on people staying here.

The staff were all very courteous and helpful. I have medical limitations. I asked about a bellman but they don't have one but an employee went out and carried my luggage in and put it in my room and made sure it was where I would not have to lift it. The room was clean and when I asked the housekeeper how long it would be before she needed to clean my room, she did it around my schedule. If I am ever in Salina KS again and need a room, I will definitely choose this hotel. I don't remember the names of either of these women but they both deserve recognition for going above and beyond to make guests happy and comfortable.

I came in from Santa Fe and decided to get a room. I have another 8 hours tomorrow. The room with AAA was $84. My room was on second floor. I drove to back side and carried my stuff up; there is an elevator. Stairway and hall carpet clean and in good condition. I had a comfortable king bed. Everything about the motel was adequate for a budget motel. I read reviews after I was here. I have nothing negative to review. I do not know why some had such a bad experience. Plan on being home tomorrow just off Interstate 70 - easy to get early start.

The hotel staff was flexible and friendly when I arrived for my reservation in the middle of the night (after driving through a big storm). The room was clean and breakfast was good the next morning. Great place for me and my cat to stay as we were moving across the country!

Always a nice experience. Their beds are FABULOUS!! The free breakfast is not really worth the price but did I mention that the beds are FABULOUS? The rooms are clean. The staff is nice and helpful. You'll be glad you stayed here.

It was a great rate for being a suite with the hot tub. They have great beds, even the couch fold out wasn't bad. I hate those itchy scratchy blankets so I went down to the front desk, Sally, the front desk lady was so nice and sweet she looked for a comforter and got one for us. Also, I have celiac disease and cannot have any premade flour enriched etc anything I asked her about it and she said everything I was able to eat!!!! Awesome!!! Thanks sally and LA Quinta for an awesome stay!

This was a conveniently located and good stay on our trip westward. In my opinion, can't beat a hotel that lets you have your pets no charge! We have stayed at many La Quintas. This one was clean and looked recently renovated. Expanded breakfast choices. The room were a little tight, our only concern.

Very pleasant staff. Very clean. They allow cats! If you are traveling with a pet, particularly with a cat, pease be clean and care for your pet. This is one of the few motels that allow a cat. Let's be fastidious so they will continue the practice.
