Pho Special LLC

What I like about Pho Special is they are always consistent. I always get the Pho Ap Chao or the Hu Tieu Nam Vang. It's literally a toss up which dish I'm ordering that day. lol.

Been going here for over 10 years. My family have always chosen Pho Special as our go to spot. I’ve never had any issues with the food. Always good and tasty. I almost always order the Bun Bo Hue every time I come here. I also really enjoy their banh mi. I will say though, they do need to train their waiting and service staff a bit more. Sometimes they can be inattentive and a little rude. An example is how I will have to ask the server for something multiple times and it wouldn’t arrive until I’m halfway done with my food.

Thank you for going above and beyond! We are staying at a hotel from out of town. My wife ordered Pho through doordash, and the driver forgot the soup. The owner, an exceptional human being, personally drove the missing soup to our hotel after the restaurant was closed. Amazing service, and the food was well worth the wait! Bravo, Pho Special…Bravo!!

This place is a first time Pho restaurant for us. Wait staff was kind and very pleasant…food was perfect- great flavor and everything was fresh. Large Pho is exactly as it says- LARGE! Its a tiny bit pricey but if you can swing it, you wont regret it. Great place, great food.

If you love Pho, you will love this place. If you don't love Pho, you'll still like it. They have wonderful authentic Vietnamese cuisine, but also offer some Americanized options for anyone who is not comfortable with chopsticks or fish sauce. And let's not forget the Boba smoothies for dessert!

EDIT- Feb 2022: It's still the best Pho place in town when My Tho isn't open... They still give plenty of basil/lime/sprouts/pepper to add to your pho, still have fish oil at the table, and still have delicious broth.
One complaint: sometimes the broth is not hot enough. And that can be an issue, because several varieties of pho need the meat to be cooked in the broth. I didn't mind that my sirloin was slightly rare this time, but I've definitely had to microwave it before when I've gotten take-out from Pho Special.

Food was low quality and was not fresh even the vegetables that come with your noodle soups. Pho broth tasted too sweet, it's supposed to be both savory and sweet. Staff was unprofessional, understaffed and ignored us at times during dine in. The restaurant was also dirty and of course the staff did not follow procedures on safety and cleanliness on how they are working. //////////////////////////////////////// this was a review by a person that has no idea what they’re talking about!!!!! They made this review and it was nothing but a lie! We all know that Pho Special is the number one place to go! Their food is amazing and their service is amazing and this woman that reviewed this was someone who had never been there

The food was amazing and the service was great! Very cozy atmosphere. Definitely will be dining in again soon.

I LOVE this place, I can’t properly rate atmosphere because I’ve only ever done to go orders through doordash but man I love their Pho. I used to work at a now closed Vietnamese restaurant and came to be practically addicted to pho and crispy spring rolls and since they closed I’ve tried many different restaurants and this one is 100% my favorite. They read the notes on to-go orders and make all the adjustments I asked for no problem, and this is the only pho where I’ll actually drink all of the leftover broth. My only wish was that the to-go hoisin containers were a little bigger but that’s not really an issue lol.

This is my roommates go to place for pho, so I finally was free to go with him today. I gotta say it surpassed my expectations! The broth was so good! Perfect amount of meat and noodles. We also got the egg rolls which were super fresh and tasted very very good. Definitely going back again, the service was very fast (we went during a time when it wasn't busy) the women were very attentive and friendly.

The food was delightful. I would definitely eat here again.

We got the 5 spice chicken with rice which was so huge I couldn't finish, grilled pork bahn mi which was possibly the best we've ever had. Excellent bread tasty meat n fresh spicy condiments.

In my opinion, the best establishment for Pho in Wichita!

This was my first pho experience and Ive gotta say its 10/10. We ordered delivery and everything arrived fresh, well wrapped, and well organized. We will be ordering again!

This was my first time eating pho before and I have to say that it was one of the best meals I have ever had. The last food of a different culture I had eat before this was some Indian food truck curry that wasn't the best, but this place was so much more then what I was expecting. The food variety is vast and the quality for the price is amazing. I couldn't even finish my bowl of Pho, and the price wasn't even more then what I would have to pay at a fast food place, and I want say that it was less.

The Pho is by far the best I have ever had anywhere in the USA including the California bay area which is known for their Asian food. The service has been simple but fast every time I've been there and the 2 drinks i have tried Thai Tea/Taro Tea where better then any of the tea shops equivalents I've been to in Wichita. The only complaint i have is that the spring rolls where not to my liking.

This place is delicious! My first time there. Had the P14. So the soup comes with your choice of meat and rice noodles. You want to flip your noodles to the top to allow the hot broth to finish cooking your meat. While you wait a few minutes add in your extras. I added lime, root, mint, and one of the sauce choices. I recommend for anyone who likes to try something new. Perfect for a chilly, rainy day. Definitely visit!

My wife loved her Pho, while I thoroughly enjoyed the noodle bowl. My 5 yo enjoyed the fried rice very much.
We will be going back again next time we are in the area.

I came here because my manager Sarah recommend it, and I was not disappointed. The spring rolls were fresh and light, egg rolls delicious and crunchy, and both mine and my girlfriends dish were perfect and flavorful. I will be coming back here in the future and plan on try many more entrees.

Wonderful restaurant and food. The food is authentic and very good. The service was quite good as well. Will definitely return to this place if in the area. There are many items on the menu that look and sound really good. Will have to return to this place to try them all.

They also sell boba at this establishment. So if you like boba and Vietnamese food. This is the place for you.
