The Heritage Inn & Suites, Ascend Hotel Collection

11 out of ten for this hotel. My family and I have stayed in a lot of hotels throughout the year but not one has been as fun as this place. Staff is beyond nice and helpful, beds are very comfortable, water park has WARM water, and there's and OLD Chicago right across the street for pizza and drinks. Adult beverages offered in the water park for a great price. We will absolutely be going out of our way to stay here again!

So incredibly stoked to find this place. Fifty dollar discount for going during off-season! We came for the lil water park, but the whole hotel was basically empty. We got a suite with the bunk beds. Comfy beds, huge room, big bathroom with giant tub. Continental breakfast was pretty stock, but ALL the stock things including mini waffles and biscuits and gravy. Fitness center had more to be desired... only an elliptical, treadmill, and bike. Wish there were dumbbells and floor mats at least. Nice staff, great amenities.

Overall a great stay. Hotel is new and clean, nice modern lobby and rooms. Service was quick. Room, and bathroom, was very clean. WiFi was adequate for my work. Literally my only small complaint was the breakfast - hot, but the eggs and sausage were not great. The rest of it was ok.

We had excellent service from the time we walked on the door. Vonnyaye was working the front desk and had some tough customers to deal with around the same time we were there and she did her job so well. She stayed calm and polite and was very professional. The room was also very nice and spacious. There was plenty of room for 6 of us in our room. We will definitely return.

Very clean place to stay. Great service, and an awesome water park right next door. It's actually attached to the hotel. Great place to take the kids. It's fun for adults too. Pizza and drinks in the park, and there's also a nice restaurant in the hotel. There's an old Chicago next door too if you want more drink selections. Worth the drive out there.

It doesn’t matter of your visiting alone, with your family or on a business stay, The Heritage Inn should be your first choice.

I don’t know where the bad reviews are coming from. This hotel was clean and comfortable. We even had bunk beds for the kids. Good breakfast. The only downside was that the water park was closed. It’s closed Mondays and Tuesdays in the summer FYI.

Wow! I travel a bit for my job and this was an amazingly great experience. From Lyndsey (front desk) to Sandra (breakfast) the staff was charming and kind. GREAT EXPERIENCE! The water park is why we came... but the staff is why we will come again. The room was spacious and it was a very quiet!

Our family spent 4th of July with them and the Parrot Cove Water Park, it was an awesome experience!! The room was very nice, King bed for us and partitioned off bunk beds for the girls! The staff was super nice and always smiling and the breakfast was really good and a staff member waiting to clear your table as you finish, nice!! The water park is just a walk down the hall, here too the staff is super awesome and helpful. the water slide was very fast (my first time on one) and we had a great time, so much so before we left we all agreed to leave Denver and drive the 10 hour round trip again next year for the 4th!! Yes, it was that good!!!

This place is beautiful!!!!! Its probably one of the cleanest, newer, and best hotel I've ever stayed in. The breakfast was AMAZING! The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to accommodate all my needs. I definitely will stay here again and I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Garden City, Kansas. Did I mention there is a water park attach to it!!! Yes, for a small fee you can enjoy that as well. 😊

I would give a 10 it was awesome! I had a problem with Orbitz not making my reservation and Veronica was more than helpful, after being on the phone for almost 4 hours with Orbitz and got my reservation with the Heritage inn to make sure I had it I called Veronica at the Heritage inn and confirmed it. She gave me early check in and when I got there everything was ready for me Veronica was there and she new who I was as soon as she saw me .
I am coming back for sure this was an awesome stay the room was cool and clean. Keep it up Veronica and there was another person at the front desk Monday night she was awesome too and very friendly

Wow! This hotel was amazing. Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at AND the cheapest.
The rooms are very spacious with a separate sitting area and half wall. The beds were super comfortable. Everything was brand new and in perfect condition. Large bathroom and the tub was immaculately clean.
We really enjoyed our stay!

I travel quite a bit, so I get to experience many hotels within a given year. I've been to some posh hotels, but I never expected something so nice in Garden City. Wow. The rooms were so comfortable, the amenities were great, the staff was super friendly, and they even have a happy hour with free drinks and appetizers. My only complaint is the fitness room with a dumbbell logo had only 3 cardio machines and nothing else. That's a minor issue when you consider the thought that went into this pristine getaway. It even has a spectacular indoor water park attached. I could go on and on - if you're in or near Garden City, this is the hotel to stay in!

Wonderful experience all around. Room, breakfast and service were all spot-on. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. The only bummer was the water park hours. We didn't come planning to visit the park, but once seeing it thought it would've been nice to go. The off hours prevented us from doing that. I would definitely come back with kids for a planned water park vacation.

The view was beautiful, the staff was super friendly and helpful, very comfortable rooms and beds, even the neighboring guests were awesome and friendly. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. There is the water park next door and we did visit that as well. They are connected so you don't have to go outside to get to either place.

We had an excellent time at the water park, unique lazy river with waves. Excellent rooms for families with partition separating bunk beds. Rooms were very clean and staff was accommodating. The arcade room staff left early the night before and were not able to use the $50.00 amount included in our room for that purpose, yet the manager, Sonil (sp?) kindly applied the credit to our room charge the next morning. We will tell our family friends anytime in SW KS to go visit.

Our expectations were blown away by this hotel. Great place to take the family. Not only is it connected to Parrot Cove but the rooms are spacious, with large bathrooms, and a few of the rooms have bunk beds for the kids in a separate "area" with their own tv.
We had a fridge & microwave in the room which is always helpful when traveling (especially with kids).
Keriug in the room with Starbucks coffee & Celestial Seasonings Tea.
Breakfast was buffet style and had something for everyone in our family.
Highly recommended & we will be back!

Stayed in Heritage Inn for the weekend to go to parrot cove water park. Pretty clean environment. Hallway on the second floor stunk pretty bad. Not sure if they had a sewer line bust or water leak. Overall it was a good experience.

Arrived here after 13 hour drive from Indiana. We were glad thay the room is super clean and spacious. Love that there is a partition between beds and the couch so my kids could chill..
Staff at the reception are super friendly and greet you with a smile.
My boyfriend booked this hotel cuz there is a waterpark, and I can't wait to take the kids tomorrow.

Wonderful staff from the front desk, kitchen, to housekeeping. Comfortable and clean room! We will stay again when we are back in town! It was a home away from home. What hospitality! Here a a FEW examples of their hospitality:
The staff kept asking me if we needed anything throughout our stay, knowing we were in town for my dad’s funeral. When the staff knew my husband wasn’t feeling well, they offered us another night at a discounted rate, AND sent a little care package up to him! They truly went above and beyond!
