Garden City Inn

Booking Garden City Inn was a last minute decision due to a delay w/ my Amtrak train departure. They were very accomodating! Check-in was a breeze and my room was clean and well appointed. If I am ever in Garden City, KS again, I'll definitely stay there again.

This had everything we needed for a stop over on the way to Colorado. The owner was extremely accommodating with our late ish arrival time. The room was great, the sink was well lit and the tub was nice. Would stay again if we are passing through!

We had a little get away. There is a pool but the hot tub was down but it was so relaxing. Not too many people. There was no smoking in the rooms which was nice. And they have a continental breakfast. Plus free wifi which was nice also. Doors to the rooms were easy to enter. And the beds were so comfy and every thing was clean. They could use some thicker toilet paper. But over all it was worth the money for the night. After tax it was about 80. Free cable and the shower was nice after a swim.

I am a cyclist traveling across the country from coast-to-coast. While my route doesn't take me through Garden City, I had bike issues and ended up getting a ride to the city since it was the nearest place around me in Kansas with any semblance of bike parts. The owner of Garden City Inn saw me pull up as a passenger in a police pickup, with my bike in the bed of the truck, and he immediately knew the sort of situation I was in. He was willing to negotiate on a room price just a bit (it was a weekday and I was obviously in trouble), assisted in getting my bike and my stuff into the hotel, and even offered to drive me to the nearest bike shop the next morning. Not only did he actually fulfill his promise to drive me to that bike shop, but when I called him to tell him they did not have what I needed, he came back to the shop to pick me up and drive me to another store. Amazing! I've simply never received the same sort of hospitality and friendliness at any comparable hotel before. In addition, I felt like the breakfast (cereal, waffles, fruit, coffee, tea) was more than adequate considering the price and I found my room to be very clean, my bed was comfortable, and I honestly just didn't have any issues at all. There is even a pretty good Mexican restaurant right across the street. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

My boyfriend and I had been driving all day and all night when we suddenly had vehicle issues. The gentleman at the counter was super nice, room was very clean, and smelled CLEAN! I would recommend this motel to you and your family. Would stay again.

I'm on a cross road trip from Cincinnati, Ohio to San Francisco, California. So far, this is by far the nicest place I've stayed at. (And it didn't cost any more than any of the other places!) The fellow at the front desk was exceptionally nice and helpful. I highly recommend!

This is an amazing hotel because of the owner he is very nice and kind and caring. Our house caught on fire and we were sent here to stay while we look for a place and he is so generous and is giving us things to get back up on our feet and we are so thankful to him. The hotel is very nice and clean and has a pool. And the staff is nice as well. Highly recomend this hotel!!!!

Friendliest owner, polite and helpful. Our truck broke down and was in the shop for a month and a week, so we stayed here part of that time. The owner helped us out with a discount and treated us like family. Very clean.

Great little hotel. Cheap and just a few years old. Breakfast is pretty pathetic. The hot tub is shut down. State law outlawed above ground hot tubs in motels. The pool looks great. The room was clean, uncramped, and nice.

I stayed in room 203 for about 2 weeks with 2 other guys when we got sent to work at the wind turbine laydown yard. It was like $420 per week. It's pretty average by all accounts but I liked all the plants in the stairwell and the pool was clean and was nice and breakfast was basically exactly what you would expect. But the reason I give this hotel 5 stars is really just because basically everyone that worked their was super friendly. The cleaning ladies and especially the guy at the front desk (don't remember his name, Indian gentleman.) Anyways for someone who works on the road a lot it's definitely something worth appreciating when you come across really friendly people. I'll definitely stay here the next time I get send to Garden City. Also on a side note if you're looking to have fun in Garden City I would definitely recommend checking out the free zoo, it's got badass animals and really surprised me.

My truck broke down they picked me and my codriver up from the dealer ship we stayed three days. I can't say enough about their hospitality! Great people they went over and beyond to make sure we got back to our truck and the train station. Awesome people grate experience

I have been employed by C.K (Mr. Kant) at this establishment in the past and I would like to share my experience. This is a family owned/operated establishment which prides itself in the quality experience it provides to guests. The guests can rest assured in the fact that they will be enjoying a peaceful, family oriented accommodation that is up- to date, with many amenities including hot tob, heated pool, free wi-fi etc. for a nominal price. I myself have stayed at a comparable place in garden at a cost of $115 AVG. Thats almost DOUBLE what you will pay at Garden City Inn. C.K ( owner) has a heart of gold not common in the world today. When I first relocated to Garden City I needed employment very badly and thewre was nothing available here in tech support, my trade. It was winter( slow season) and honestly didn't need a front desk person, but gave me a front desk position, which was a life-saver. He helped me and my family get on our feet by extending me that opprtunity. I witnessed him help an entire family who was stranded in 2009 thru one of the local charities.He exhibits discretion for the protection of his guests and will not tolerate any drug use,disturbing and disruptive guests. he will refer them elsewhere rather than revere the profit.Thats more effort than most owners in my opinion.He has a very low turn-over because of how he treats his employees. With courtesy and respect and understanding.If a guest DOES have a less than pleasurable experience than I would encourage them to communicate that to him or his son, Pyrinshu and they would accommodate you, im sure, within reason. They also have another property on Fulton called the Sunflower and its a bargain for the quality and size of the room.

Very friendly staff. We arrived at the hotel at 2:30 am but they let us a room at a small discount and allowed a late checkout. . .top notch customer experience!

Too long ago to leave a detailed review, but I do know the man was very kind, the price was fair, the room was clean, and overall had little to no issues besides making contact.

It's walking distance to a grocery store, a club, fast food, and gas stations, and it's affordable with a pool. The weird 5 way intersection to get out is a bit confusing

Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the manager on duty was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
