Shear Madness Haircuts For Kids

This place is amazing! Cut my sons hair exactly as I asked and were super patient and quick. They even offer a “first haircut” special where they cut a lock of hair and print before and after pictures for you! Will be coming back!

When we first walked in, they gave us a friendly greeting and checked us in. There is a little toy store so we could entertain my nephew while we waited, which was useful! The sweet lady that gave him his FIRST haircut was fast and knew all the tricks to get him to sit still! Overall, we had a great time! I definitely recommend Shear Madness!

An outstanding staff. They’ve done a great job each time we’ve taken our kids.

We usually go in with pictures of the style of cut that we want and they rock it.

My only complaint is the over priced toys up front. I get it, they’re making money, but you have to go through a room full of toys to get your haircut.

Definitely a good experience and a great staff though.

They had really great chairs (my son sat in the Chiefs Jeep) with buttons kids can push to make sounds etc and TVs for each stall with kids movies on them.

Loved JAY! Our son hates strangers and anything being done to him and she was able to get it done quick and easy and look really good as well. she really made the whole process much less stressful!

Great place! Always easy to get an appointment, the staff are friendly and great with kids as you would expect. My kids have a great time every time and enjoy getting their haircuts. It makes it for a stress free experience! The place is clean as well.

Couldn’t be happier with our first experience at shear madness! Karol was an absolute angel and did such a great job. The whole experience was fun and so adorable. Not to mention we grabbed some great Melissa and Doug toys on our way out at a very reasonable price! They had a better selection than any target. Highly recommend shear madness and especially Karol. She is a treasure.

Ashley was personable and friendly! She was quick and precise with the scissors! My 14 month old did wonderful with her for his first haircut! Including a picture of the Souvenir that is included with the first haircut package! I highly recommend this place!

I got my 3 year old daughter's hair cut with Sarah and she was awesome with her. I told the stylist that this was her first full haircut and she helped me with the hairstyle I chose with what would work with her curly hair. My daughter loved picking out her own chair and her own movie. The stylist even styled her hair after with a French braid and I was not expecting that and loved the extra attention they give to the kids.

The ladies here are so kind and always do an amazing job with my daughters and my son!

Went on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Whoa was it a war zone! You couldn't see the kids in the back and it sounded as if the moment they stepped back there some pinched them. But once we got back there it was clearly understood as to why the kids were crying. Parents actually brought kids here who had terrible experiences in the past with other shops. The seats were so comforting for both our boys. Paw Patrol 🚒, 🦖 4 Wheelers and all kids of cool seats. Videos for the kids to watch and even when the kids wouldn't calm down, the stylist were extremely professional and worked with both the parents and children to get the job finished through a difficult situation. Jay was our stylist and she was patient as well as attentive to the boys, in a manner that made them comfortable. She took her time, but was timely at the same time. In Did I just say time 3 times in a sentence? She was the best stylist we've had since the boys were born, we've found our new place, had to drive 40 miles to get there, but definitely worth it.

This is a great place! There are great stations for the kids to sit on and even watch TV while getting their hair cut. We got my oldest daughters haircut done there and her sister even got to sit in a seat while they were cutting her hair. Very nice and friendly hair stylists. Very kid friendly!

We had the BEST experience! Leanne cut my sons hair and she did amazing! He absolutely hates getting his hair cut-kicks, screams, cries…today was a whole new experience! Our only place for haircuts now!

Amazing job with kids. My son has Down syndrome and is easily over stimulated so we were worried about coming here with all the noises/others kids/etc., but they are incredible with him!
