Kojaba Bar Korean Japanese BBQ

This is the best Korean Restaurant in town (as far as I have tried). We absolutely love their Bulgogi BBQ. The kimchi Chi Gae was a perfect soup during CoMO winter. It was served bubbling hot, along with a hot bowl of rice 🥰🥰🥰 The Bulgogi BBQ was served with the portable burner and you can experience cooking your own food. Overall, we’re hooked. We’ll be a regular, for sure 🥰🥰🥰

Good ambiance, large menu, all reasonably priced. We got the bulgogi table and a veggie sushi roll it was seriously so good. It's a lot of fun to cook at your own table and have it just how you want it. The jasmine tea is delicious and adorable. 10/10 would recommend, great food, great experience.

Very good korean food! The restaurant location looks a little sketchy but dont let that scare you away from the awesome food inside ! I got chicken bibimbap and daboki (spicy rice cake dish: a favorite korean street food of mine).

If you want a fun dining experience, I highly recommend coming to Kojaba for the Korean bbq. You cook all your meats yourself right at the table. So fun and everything tastes delicious. We ordered the pork belly and short ribs, which came with lots of sauces, rice, and veggies on the side.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in all of Columbia. The food never disappoints, always friendly staff, and there is never a long wait. If you only have time for 1 restaurant while in town and enjoy authentic Asian cuisine, this is the place to go.

Prices are good and portions are fair. Large variety of options on the menu. Mainly Korean, but they serve other Asian and Asian American dishes. Everything I've had has been great. From bulgogi to Springfield style cashew chicken. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for Korean food or craving that Springfield stile chicken.

It was our first time eating here the other day, I had luxury Ramen and it was delicious. They have a very large menu, so I'll dabble around and be a bit more adventurous next time. Service was super good and my partner enjoyed her meal as well.

This is the best Korean food I have had in the Midwest. I loved coming here to eat when I lived in Columbia. I would highly recommend coming here. You will not leave hungry either. The portions you get for the price, plus the quality is more than worth the value.

I absolutely love this place! I've tried several things on the menu and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food or how it tastes. This is one of my personal 'go to' places for lunch.

*This restaurant is now out of business. There is no where in CoMo is get authentic Spfld style cashew chicken. House of Chow comes close but isn’t quite the same.

This is only place in Columbia, Missouri to serve authentic Springfield Style Cashew Chicken. One other restaurant comes close, and some local interpretations are tasty in their own right, but this place is the real deal. Cook used to work at Korea House on St. Louis Street. She knows how to fry a chicken nugget. More importantly, the sauce is right. Springfield refugees, this is your place. (Now if we can just duplicate Mexican Villa's fake Mexican food, it'll be like home).

Best Korean food in COMO hands down. Humble prices and very delicious menu. Love the chef, he is amazing and definitely loves what he does, his food speaks for itself.

Kojaba is my go to place, I have been a repeat customer for well over a year now and never once has their quality or service disappointed me. They always do an AWESOME job!

I am from South Korea and I live in Jeff City.
I love this place because the foods are not as pricy compared to other Asian restaurants but they still have tasty & variety of food.
Also, their food helps me from getting out of homesick sometimes 😄

Very good atmosphere and friendly wait staff. The food is very good when you want Korean dishes! The American accommodations like the Cashew Chicken plate isn't what I expected, but everything else was amazing

Kojaba is my favorite restaurant in Columbia. Everything I've had there has been perfectly made and tastes delicious. Their menu offers a wide variety, each item made very well. Despite their wide variety and impressive cooking, they always find a way to get the food out quickly. I honestly feel that this restaurant is a hidden gem in Columbia that everyone should try.

We went as an office lunch (12 people) and they still did a great job with service. The food was all amazing and we literally got everything! The tabboki was truly delicious with more of a back-of-the-throat type heat than a burning-your-lips type heat, which I personally prefer :)

YUMMY!!! We ordered Spicy Pork, Bulgogi and Tofu. Service was amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The flavors are very intense and spot on and portions were a nice size. I took home leftovers of the bulgogi and the tofu. The clientele is heavily Asian so only chopsticks are brought with your meal. Forks are available on request though it may feel awkward to be the only patron using one. Overall, just a really positive experience.

This is THE BEST Korean place you'll ever had the pleasure to walk in, hands down.
They greet me with a sample of 4 not so small pickled veggie plates that were fresh and diverse in flavors, from bbq to ginger, that will blow your palate and mind away
I ordered the spicy fish soup... I died and went to heaven🤤😭😍
