My husband and I booked a camp spot here on our roadtrip west. The campground is laid out nicely. We took a swim in there nice swim area to cool down. There bathroom facilities are very clean and the showers had great water pressure. We had a nice dinner on the restaurant down by the docks. We got to put on our Missouri sticker here. 😁Definitely recommend.

We had a rocky start, but it turned out perfect. (37 ft travel trailer with 20 ft truck) We had gotten on the road a little late due to some mechanical issues, but planned to dump tanks when we got here. We decided to scope out our site; very tight road, downhill with lots of trees to get to our site! After we got there, didn't see water hook ups like I thought we had, so we backed up to fill our tank up. Then decided to go dump our tanks, which we discovered that the dump station was out of order. So, we had to drive 20 minutes up the road to a different campground to dump, with tight, curvy, windy, hilly, dark roads! Finally once we got settled that night, things were getting better. Next morning, we discovered the water spigot on the side of the electric pole (this was new to us). Additionally, we ended up not having any neighbors on either side of us or on any of the sights in front of us due to flooding. So we were blessed with a perfect view with a perfect spot to put in our kayaks, and a quiet campground. I really like the setup of the sites, there is a nice 2 tier patio with table and fire pit, with large retaining wall around the pad, which for us, created a great spot to cook food. All in all, despite the heat, it ended up being a great week.

Very helpful staff. We didn't end up staying because we were tent camping and it was 100 degrees out but the place is really nice

I live here and love it. It so peaceful and love the idea of waking up and the lake is so close you just go fishing. It's like you're on vacation all year round.🥰🚣🏄🏊🎣🚤 Just have a ton of fun.

This is a beautiful campground and the host Bob and Nancy were awesome! Very shady nice, clean sites and best of all there is a nice restaurant" SS DOCKSIDE" floating restaurant at the marina. They food and drinks there were really excellent! Although, their menu is a little limited the staff, food and drinks were fantastic! Bring your boat and enjoy the fishing!

I lived at this park throughout the summers since i was 12.. so much fun..havent been there since 1999.. so i figured it is time to go back. So in July, I am going back to see my Aunt and Uncle that own the the Viola Country Store, and RV Park up the street, and to show my babygirl, where her momma ripped the waves, skiing, hetskiing, seadoo, fishing, campfire, smores, and relaxation for a few days..
