Moss Creek Apartments

For the last two years of staying at Moss Creek Apartment, I found it very enjoyable. The apartment is relatively close to campus, which is a 8 to 10 minute walk, and Boone Hospital Center. Compared to other apartments, I would describe the place as quaint due to the natural foliage next to the apartment. I would sometimes open by blinds to let in natural sun light and admire outdoor scenery. I did not experience any loud or annoying noises while living there, even when tenants from other units invited people over. The other tenants that I have encountered were all very nice whenever we greeted one another. Kimi, the landlord, is one of the nicest person when I was living there. Whenever we had a maintenance problem, she would be on the case after text messaging her. Even though I some what miss living there, I overall really enjoyed my stay at Moss Creak Apartment.

I have been living here for a year and a half and these apartments are great. I can't recommend them enough. First, the location is very convenient and very close to campus. Even though I don't have a car, I can walk around as the area feels very safe. Price is reasonable and you will be treating yourself to a wonderful and peaceful view of the forest and creek on the back. Kimi, the landord, is also very kind and responds in a very timely manner. Any time we have had problems with appliances, or any minor issues etc. she has been promt to help us out in no time. Definitely the perfect place to live!

These apartments are so great! First, no place in east campus has a view like this, and it is so peaceful have the creek and woods be so close to the apartments. Second, the location is really nice, great for biking to campus, really close if you drive, and a manageable walk through a nice neighborhood. The apartments themselves are very quaint and nice, you don't have to worry about problems like leaks or things falling apart and they have a very homey feel. Lastly, Kimi (the landlord) is so nice and helpful! Its not like other apartments where you have to fight with the landlord for basic repairs or assistance, she has your best interest in mind!

A nice, quiet place, 10 minute walk from Mizzou & Stephen College campus. I especially enjoyed the back deck with the creek & trees to study/relax. Landlord Kimi was a phone call away. She always responded promptly and took care of any issue asap. She was always smiling and personable; you can tell she cares about the tenants and the apartment. Would recommend!

Moss Creek is a great location extremely close to MU campus. I did not have a car my senior year and was able to walk to class everyday. The apartments are clean, the area is quiet, and student-friendly. Great view of the east campus forest as well!

For my time at Mizzou I've thoroughly enjoyed the experience of living here. The seclusion and maintenance of the apartments is wonderful, as well a perfect distance from campus. Mrs. Rothers takes really great care of us, and is always available whenever you need anything. It's a great area and just an overall positive environment.

I loved living here! The apartment is a short walk to campus and is very spacious inside. Both bedrooms are a nice size and the apartment was well kept and clean. Another bonus is that there's plenty of parking right outside the apartments. Overall these apartments are such a good deal for the price!

Moss Creek is a great place to live for students in Mizzou.
You can walk to the campus around 15 mins and Kimi is a nice landlord I have ever known.
Kimi has given me immediate feedback on my requirements so far.
Also, Moss Creek can give you a great view of the forest through your window.
I definitely recommend this place to new students in Mizzou!

Moss Creek has been the perfect home for myself and my roommate for the past 3 years. When we were first searching for an apartment, we visited several places on east campus that were in varying states of decay and disrepair; we weren't pleased with our options. When we went to Moss Creek for the first time we were impressed by how spotless and clean everything was. Since then, we've had nothing but a positive experience living here. The heating and cooling work great at all times of the year, utilities and internet amount to roughly $150-180/mo (cost not included in rent, so we know exactly what we're paying for), and the close location to campus makes it ideal for a brief morning walk to class while still being secluded enough to offer a sense of privacy. The landlord has been extremely quick to respond (usually same to next day) on almost all maintenance issues and done a good job of making us feel welcome. She's also been flexible on financial issues when it would be reasonable to do so, showing she cares for her tenants, I even received cupcakes on my birthday after I had been unable to see my mom for several months. Overall, these apartments are fantastic and ideal for any person looking for a clean and cozy undergraduate or graduate apartment at a reasonable rate. If you want granite countertops you won't find them here, but if you need granite countertops to think a space is perfect you're ridiculous, you can't get this kind of peace and quiet downtown!!

The landlord is on top of everything. My washing machine broke and within a week it was fixed and eventually replaced. Kimi (landlord) is easy to contact and very friendly. It’s a great location for walking to class or downtown at a very cheap price. Would highly recommend for anyone. Only caveat is little storage space.

These apartments are perfect! Each apartment opens out to the serene creek; I deeply enjoy the view of the woods and creek from my deck. Everything works in the apartments and the management is efficient and pleasant. And, campus is a 5 minute walk away, perfect for students!

The location is perfect! Only a 10 min walk to campus and the balcony overlooks a nice wooded area + creek. The neighbors are so kind, there’s plenty of parking, and good sized bedrooms all for a great price!

As someone who has been living here for almost a year now, I can definitely say that this place is home. Everyone in this area is super nice, the rooms are spacious, and it’s so close to campus. Plus rent is extremely affordable for me and my brother. I see myself living here next year and beyond.

What a great place to live. I remember living there while going to Mizzou. I could walk or ride my bike to campus. Great location and was very quiet and relaxing while studying. Management responded in a timely manor. I recommend this place.

Absolutely loved living here! Close to downtown and campus, my unit is next to the woods which is gorgeous, nice neighbors, very accommodating landlord, etc... Recommend this to anyone needing a nice and cozy place to live!

These apartments are in a very nice and scenic location, perfect place to live and study! The management is quick to respond to my calls/texts. I recommend it to any serious students!

Great location great owners. I rented the apartment for four years. No issues during that time period. Rent reasonable. Check this complex out before u rent else where. Walk to Booches, Heidelberg, library and downtown.

Great location, very close to campus which made the experience very easy. Everything worked great and the balcony offered a beautiful view of the creek, highly recommend.
