Columbia Art League

First things first--I am not an artsy person and don't know much about art, but I can comment on a number of other things. I will say that the art is definitely much more affordable than I thought it would be! Granted, that might be because of the exhibition I went to see--the Tiny things exhibition. The Derek Fox pieces were way more expensive and with good reason. The atmosphere is really good--warm and inviting. You would just want to sit there and stare at art for a while, and there is a comfy couch for that! There are also some really cool jewelry pieces to purchase. The lady working there is also extremely kind, easy to talk to, and very welcoming. Definitely pop in if you have an hour or two to spare!

Great place to buy art made by local artists. There is a large range in pricing, from $25-$8000 dollars, so there’s something for every budget. In addition, the Columbia Art League is a great community organization that promotes the arts in Columbia.

The Columbia Art League is a Columbia treasure!
It offers an opportunity for artists to exhibit and market their artwork, participate in group shows and for all of us to share in an amazing art experience.
Classes offer a variety of creative exploration and skill development while challenging us.
Whether it is learning, creating or viewing art there is a place for each of us to share in a bold artistic journey by entering through the doors of the Columbia Art League.

The Columbia Art League is a great art gallery downtown that also offers classes. I can say from personal experience that the owner is fantastic and truly cares about being a patron of the arts. They put on some amazing shows throughout the year, and the artists they showcase are first class. Even if you don't plan on purchasing anything, you should at least stop in and just admire the works on display. Their themes are always very interesting and thought-provoking.

Take a class here, view the gallery, but some art and support a local artist! This group is great and regularly change out the exhibits. They are very involved in the community and host one of my favorite events, Art in the Park!

Wide variety of art to suit everbody, clean environment and a able body staff. Friendly staff willing to help you with all your needs. New artists to the league are welcome and greeted openly. This place gives you full opportunity to show your art and share your ideas.

Beautiful works of various crafts and artwork. 1st Friday of each month is an "Art Walk". Very pleasant and professional staff. A must visit even join their membership to support local artists

The Columbia art league is an amazing place where the director and education director have a true talent of making all apart of the art community from emerging to seasoned!

Kelsey Hammond, the executive director, is amazing .
