Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art

This small art museum has just enough to wet ones appetite to see more. In the gift shop area they have a few area artists work for sale. A revolving collection as well. Beautiful old home enlarged to accommodate more beautiful pieces. Welcoming environment.

The art museum isn't to big, but it does have some really interesting artwork! Once you walk in the left hand side of the building is a permanent exhibit, the right hand side is a temporary exhibit which currently features two artists out of Kansas City, and the downstairs is all highschool artwork from the surrounding communities.

The price to get in for adults were $5 a piece and we were there for roughly 45 minutes. Even then if you truly take your time, you could spend about an hour or two here. Definitely check the art museum out and the workers are super friendly!

Such a gem in St. Joe, the library has been my favorite since a child. It's a must see if you're in town.

My daughter won in her category for a regional high school art competition/exhibit held here. This was our 1st visit but will return. An abundant amount of art. Very helpful, courteous staff as well.

Lovely Art Museum
This visit was for Senior Prom pictures. The staff was very accommodating

I was here for a bridal shower, so only glanced at the museum. From what I saw, the art was beautifully displayed. The room we were in for the shower was nice and quiet. Outside was a fountain and a small pond.

It was a lovely experience visiting the museum. I was there for Peregrine Honig's exhibition and viewing of Summer in Hindsight.

Staff was amazing, and they had some unique art. The Director Eric Fusion was awesome and friendly. We can't wait to go back

Small private museum with a great collection and special exhibitions worth seeing. Plan on spending 1-2 hours and that leaves plenty of time to check out some other unique museums in the area.

A perfect mix of contemporary and classical art all contained within a former mansion. An overall wonderful and elegant experience.

Great small art Museum. Has wonderful exhibitions and a great full-time collection. They also feature a beautiful collection of peonies by hybridizer Don Hollingsworth.

Did not expect the museum.to be so wonderful, as we were visiting from a larger city. The staff was friendly, educational and helpful. The building and exhibits were beautiful. We spent the entire day there. It was fun seeing parts of the mansion as it was when it was a home, plus many of the pieces of art were extraordinary. Loved it!

Phenomenal art museum in St. Joe.
Dr. Madeleine Rislow is an amazing art curator (one of my biggest role models and previous professor at Missouri Western State University).
Dr. Rislow was the reason I know about this museum. The space is smaller compared to other museums in the metro but that does mean it is all that more inclusive. Very classy.

We just had a business event and the facilities are amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful very easy to work with. I highly recommend them for you next business event.

Had our wedding here and everyone was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Robyn helped set everything up for our big day and I couldn't have imagined it going any better. It was very hot out and they set out ice water to help everyone cool down without even being asked. They very hands down one of the best venues we dealt with and highly recommend them to anyone!

Almost unnoticeable from the street and looks old and run down from the outside, but that can not be more than the opposite of the truth for the inside. It's beautiful inside. Helped host a luncheon there. They were more than accommodating and the food was impressive as all get out. Highly recommend for anyone needing a venue, likes art, or is a museum buff.
