Claycomo Shooters Indoor Range & Gun Store

Just took my conceal and carry course here. The instructors were so helpful and incredibly informative. They gave me shooting tips and guidance that I needed as someone who is new to gun control and usage. I would recommend anyone who is new to guns to come here and gain information and experience. This environment is judgment free and helpful. During my day long class I was able to ask questions and gain information in such an insightful way. I will be returning to practice my skills and make purchases. Thank you guys so much!

My go-to FFL. Herb and Mike have been amazing in both patience and working with/guiding. Their Bowling Pin nights are a blast as well. Highly recommend this shop!

Knowledgeable, safety-minded, encouraging, and realistic are terms that describe the staff at Shooters well. It's clear that they are well equipped to serve those with years of firearms experienced. And for folks like myself, brand new to handling a gun, this is the place learn! Treading new ground, I was a bit nervous. Instructor Kimeka explains clearly, is patient, and builds confidence. Their prices are quite reasonable, staff are glad to answer even the most basic questions.

After two classes, I find I have a new and enjoyable hobby and look forward to learning more! I hope never to have to us my firearm other than at the range, but it's a great feeling to be building the skills in case an occasion arises where I do have to defend myself or others. I was glad to find that, at age 68, it's not at all too late to get started learning to handle a gun safely and effectively.

I came across this gun store/range about a month ago and have been in there once a week since. The guys in there are very knowledgeable in the weapons they sell. I've had them help me with a gun they never even sold me. The staff and owner are great guys. The indoor range is one of the better ranges I've been to. The prices are great if your not even a member. I do have to say it's more than worth it to become a member. Highly recommend place for beginning to advanced shooters and all types of gun owners.

Purchased a rifle from their online store, and was available to pick up in just a few business days. The whole staff was friendly and easy to work with! Highly recommend 👍

I came here after many attempts to purchase a firearm from other local stores and had one of the best experience I could ask for. The staff was amazing and knowledgeable and had no problems answering any question I had. At no point did I feel like I was a bother, or like I didn't belong there, unlike a few I visited in the Northland. Will definitely be back.

Claycomo Shooters is a great place to shop and shoot at the indoor range. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Best membership prices of all the ranges I checked into. I just took the Women's basic handgun class and it was great. The instructor, Kimeka Knight is a great teacher; very knowledgeable and made the class fun. Highly recommend!!

Awesome people working there! I love the atmosphere in there, they took care of me and showed me what I was looking for. Decent prices and they will try to up sale you hard, but that's how you run a business and convinced me hard core. Amazing place to come by and see. I will definitely be coming back for other stuff.

Nice to have an indoor range serving south-central Clay County again! Clean facility and reasonable range fees. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and invited me back. I’ll take them up on their invitation in the future.

Informative lessons very helpful for new gun owners

Very professional and safely ran range. Took my daughter to shoot for her first experience and the man running the range made sure things were safely done and did a great job explaining how a range operated to my daughter. Very happy with how we were all treated In my group. I will return!

Listen ladies! Just completed Conceal and carry class with Herb and Doug. Never once did I feel my questions were out of line or Irrelevant! These guys took time to answer ALL my questions! This class is a must if you want to own a gun. I learned so many things that I never would’ve thought of. I was very intimidated buy gun ownership but the time and training these gentlemen provide made me feel 100% comfortable. Thank you Herb and Doug! Holly

All these guys are full of so much knowledge! I have had nothing but great experiences there. They offer memberships that offer discount or even free admission to the range and you can bring a guest. It seems pricey but you can really end up saving a lot of money! I can’t tell you how amazing they are they blow it out of the water. Just don’t smell like weed when you go in there haha!

Very impressed with the owner and staff. Went in to browse and the prices were so good I bought a new AR, 5 mags, a taser and ammo for these and my handguns. Then went back to get bulk ammo. Waiting for them to open so I can buy more mags. Probably grab another AR and maybe a new 12 gauge

Yesterday I went to the Women’s Basic 101. It was very informative and I’m ready for the next level. Shoutout to Kimeka for an excellent class. I also had some good laughs and fun with Greg and Herb. I’m glad I went bc I’m afraid of guns but I know if I keep going to the trainings and classes I will be a pro ❤

Outstanding store. I've bought two firearms from here, and will most likely purchase more in the future from them. Friendly and down to Earth people. Great place and the shop is clean, tidy, and professional.

Awesome gun range and store, me and my husband shoot here every few weeks and take advantage of their annual membership for discounts. Affordable place to go practice shooting and very friendly and helpful staff
