Johnson's auto care is the BEST place to take your car/suv/truck. Gary and his team are amazing. You get all your information before hand, there is no pressure to get back to them immediately. Your quote is to the penny that you will pay. You can drop your vehicle off at night, they had a drop box. It is in a great neighborhood. Gary and his team give off that caring feel when they fix your vehicle, as if it was their own. I can't say enough good things about this place. I have taken several different vehicles there for several years.

Really can't say enough good things about Gary and the Johnson's crew. They're always busy- but that's a good sign! So many people have come to trust them with their cars they can't help but be a popular place. But they always figure out a way to make time for you.
Have taken 2 or 3 cars here for great, reasonably priced work and excellent, honest advice. Would go here with any vehicle.

Gary and the Johnson's Auto Care team are great. We recently had work done on our old Cherokee's fuel pump. Got it home and the next day the Jeep stalled in the middle of the road. Johnson's worked on the Jeep for three days until they figured out what was causing the stall. When we picked it up he wouldn't let me pay for the additional work. So solid that they stood behind their work.

Took 2009 Prius there due to bad battery. Dropped off after hours and they corresponded via text (preference), sent invoice when complete, and handled payment over phone. When I picked up the car I was impressed with the person who helped me and that they have a decent waiting room. I wasn’t expecting that based on the rougher exterior.

I got a sense that there’s a lot of care and attention to good service.

Also got a quote on new tires. There was no pressure to buy now and felt comfortable with their mileage recommendation.

Brought my 2003 Toyota Highlander for a”subtle” exhaust leak to pass 4/2023 inspection. Turned out repairs needed involved EVAP, coils, spark plugs, gasket ring etc. Was the best $1200.00 I ever spent. A bonus- Engine/VCS dash lights that have been on for 10+ yrs that no other mechanics could fix incl Toyota dealership, are off and stayed off. Gary and his brother are talented, honest and super responsive mechanics!! My 20y/o Toyota Highlander SUV runs smoother than ever and no more oil leak!

Quite possibly the most honest auto repair/maintenance place around.
Neighborhood auto repair. They fix your issue and you can be assured that it's fixed. Prices are reasonable and fair. If you want your car fixed go there.

First time customer. I had to get timing belt/water pump replaced as a routine maintenance procedure. The Johnson Brothers are polite, friendly and a pleasure to do business with. Very good experience; highly recommend.

I've been going to the Johnson brothers for years. They are not only excellent mechanics, they're totally honest and trustworthy. That's a combination that's rare these days. I always know that if they recommend something for my car, it's because I actually need it. I used to work across the street from this business (when they were in the CWE). At first, I used them because they were so convenient. Now, I drive 45 minutes one way. I know I can trust my car to this great, friendly, family-run business.

I went for the first time, to have a used car inspected before I purchased it, and was extremely pleased with their service. They looked at the car immediately and did a very thorough, inexpensive inspection. After I bought the car, they gave me a free safety/emissions and VIN inspection, and they kindly helped me figure out my tire pressure sensor, as well as when I should get my next oil change. I know very little about cars and as a result, mechanics normally make me feel very uncomfortable. But this is not your average shop. The owner and employees are so honest and personable, which makes it very obvious that they care more about their customer than making money. I'm so happy to have finally found such a trustworthy shop!

Highly recommend Johnson's Auto Care! They are always so accommodating getting my vehicle in and are fast and efficient at getting the necessary repairs done. Very honest, friendly, and easy to work with. I have been using them since I moved to Webster Groves 2 years ago and will continue to do so.

Super friendly, fast and reasonable. A bonus is that I live so close I can drop my car off and walk home. I had a ball joint replaced a few days ago and my car felt amazing afterwards. I've been taking my cars here for all my maintenance/repair needs for the past five years. Every experience has been stellar. Want to know why you should trust Johnson's? I had my Honda Pilot looked at because it was leaking fluid. I dropped off my car in the morning, by 11am, Gary had called me back saying that it was the bushing in the control arm leaking hydraulic fluid. He also mentioned that I should call Honda as there was a warranty extension on this particular part, and even though my vehicle didn't qualify for the full warranty, Honda may subsidize the repairs. They look out for, and care about, their patrons going above and beyond servicing vehicles.

I wish I could give them10 🌟!! Because I was in town for the birth of my first grandchild and my brakes needed to be replaced and my car was done the next day. Great service both to the car and to me in my frantic state of mind and the cost was actually less than what the dealer would have charged. Please give them your business!! Gary and his team have provided me with exceptional service for three years now. This coming from someone who used to do all his own work to his vehicles.

They do the job quicker, better, and cheaper then I was able to do.

My family and I always use Johnson's. At one point I was in the market for a used car, I took two cars to them to have them checked out before purchasing. I can't tell you how patient they were with me. Compared to a dealership, these mechanics were on MY side. They were honest and detailed about the conditions of each vehicle. I bought a Passat, after they gave me the go-ahead, and I couldnt be happier with the car I purchased.

Aside from this particular case, they do quality work at a price thats unbeatable. They don't try to sell un-needed products or services to me, but they do let me know what matinence is on its way.

I took my car here for an inspection. They were speedy, friendly and courteous. I knew I needed new front tires, but it was only mentioned, - there was NO pressure at all. When I later lost the inspection sheet :( they printed another one right up for me. I came back when my gas tank door was broken to see if I could drop off my car and have it looked at. He came out to look at it and fixed it in the lot at no charge. I won't be going anywhere else!
