I’ve met a nice owner ‘Ryan’ and their lovely cat ‘Buddy’ Not just shopping, sharing some thoughts about collecting. I had a real good time. Thank you so much, this shop makes my day! Yay!

Such an amazing little store with an awesome inventory and some of the best people you will ever meet! My daughter takes bass guitar lessons there and she has flourished ever since we got her in with them! Sundays are my favorite days when I get to hear my daughter playing music she loves while I get to chat with a new friend. Ryan and Michelle, you guys have something really special here!

The owner will talk to you about all kinds of music, knows about all the special vinyl releases/rarities, and will find/order you anything you need. I always find something to buy, he has a great selection of new and used vinyl

This is the perfect record shop! Ryan is always friendly, he knows his stuff, and he has an amazing ability to remember his customers' musical tastes! Great selection and everything is reasonably priced.

My wife and I LOVE going to Wound for Sound! It’s our favorite little record shop, and Ryan is such a cool guy! We always leave with good vibes and even better vinyl! Prices are great, and the selection is very solid and ever growing! We never fail to find something neat and something new there.

Seriously one of the best hidden gems around, and even though for us it’s a little bit of a drive (we live almost an hour from town) it is worth it. Just took my wife there for her birthday and she took home some good ones.

Ryan and his team are fantastic. I’ve been searching for a specific album for literal years and Ryan came through on RSD 2021! Very cool place with a great vibe and TONS of awesome music. I, personally really enjoyed the $1.99 and under vintage section. I look forward to going back already.

Excited to see their business is expanding!! They offer great customer service and an even better variety of vinyl. My son has over 2,000 albums and always makes a purchase when visiting.
Also, at Christmastime I sent WFS a messaging asking if they could help me locate any of the 8 albums my son wanted. They were able to order 2 of them in time. Great customer service!!! (Fairly obscure bands and not easily located on vinyl, plus mix in the holiday season.) Wound For Sound knocked it out of the park for me!! Thank you!!

How did I not find this place sooner?! The owner is a quality guy, the store is very well priced and organized, and for me, personally, the size of the store is "just right." Sometimes i've found myself overwhelmed going to other record stores and there is just WAY too much to look through. The inventory there is probably around a few thousand albums and is just the right amount to spend about an hour or two and to get a good look through just about everything. It's literally perfect for me.

.......plus there's a record store cat. How can you go wrong with that??

Great shop with a nice owner who loves music. He is always getting in new music. If you don't find it there, ask, and they will order it for you. He also gives guitar lessons if you're interested. If you just want to talk music, you can do that as well. If you're coming to Greenwood for the antique shops, make this a stop and buy someone some vinyl.

Between the personable owner and chatty Buddy the Cat, it's a great place to pick up new, reissue, and vintage vinyl. Need a record player? Get it here, too.

WFS doesn't have a huge selection, but it's still a quality selection with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
