I have always received excellent service here. Even though the shop moved further away from me, it will still be my "go to" place.

I went in there to get my front brakes fixed. Found out I need a lot more. They fixed my front brakes for brakes and labor it was 90 bucks. Check your coupons that come in the mail I am telling you.
I plan to go back for my back brakes ,my rotors on front and back. They did an awesome job.

I had a wonderful experience. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a professional and very kind employee. The employee took my information and ask me to take a seat. Then said as soon as my car was checked out, he would come back with info on my car. When everything was said and done, the only thing my car needed was break fluid. There was no charge to me, and they didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. I feel they are a very honest shop and would definitely go back there again.

Take your car here if you have any trouble. There is a great staff that will be able to help you. I've been a loyal customer ever since. I just had a fuel pump replaced with Calverts and my car is running great. Thanks again for all your help!

This location is the bomb.com...This was my second time visiting and just like the first time. I was told the truth about what was going on with my car. I was told the truth about the price. I wasn't there long. The receptionist was great with great attitude. The mechanic that worked on my car was great. And the manager STEVE assured me and answered any questions I had with great patience and TRUTH. PRICING IS GREAT. I WILL BE BACK DEFINITELY.

It’s always scary to hear your car making a new sound after hitting a classic St. Louis pothole - even scarier when you don’t have a long relationship with a mechanic you know is reliable. I brought my car in this morning, and they told me about the standard (very reasonable) charge for a front end inspection to see what was going on. After a quick test drive and getting up under the car, their mechanic found the problem was just an errant piece of plastic - no real harm - and took care of it, took it for another quick test drive, and I was good to go after just 20 minutes or so. They even waived the inspection charge, which I would’ve been happy to pay, because it was such an easy fix. Definitely a stand-up operation (who ever heard of a car mechanic waiving fees?), and one I’d recommend in South City.

I have used this Calvert's location multiple time for various issues. For auto inspections and emissions, these folks are quick to get you in and will service your vehicle in a timely fashion.

I have had both front and back brakes replaced (separate visits) and both times they offered me a fair price and did not try and convince of other additional services that I had not intended. In fact, on one occasion, I felt like the back brakes on my vehicle were worn so I brought it to Calvert's for an evaluation. The mechanic personally told me that the brakes were good for at least another 6 months - no service needed!

On another occasion I had the catalytic converter stolen on an older Toyota Prius. Calvert's had it replaced by the next morning. Moreover, when I told my insurance what Calvert's charged me, they were shocked by what a good price I was given.

So, if you're in the market for honest, quick and reliable service, Calvert's is the place to go!

I blew a tire in front of the shop at closing on a Friday. The owner stayed and put my spare on. He didn’t ask. He just helped! So I bought 2 new tires from him on Monday. Easy. Professional. Nice to work with. Appreciated the extra mile! I could have waited 2 hours for AAA but he rescued me instead. :)

I had it towed there at night, had never been there. They were courteous, honest, fair and prompt. Too far from home to go again, but I would definitely recommend!!!
