Gene's Tire & Service Center

Stopped in to see about getting air in a couple tires I had in the bed of my truck. Front desk man told me to pull it in to keep us out of the rain… I definitely appreciated that!!! He could have made me roll the tires in to the shop but instead had me pull in and hopped in the bed and aired the tires up. Thanks for the great service!!!

I don’t know the persons name who helped me, but I could not be happier with my service. We went in with a low air pressure indicator after I had checked all our tires. The guy diagnosed it as the spare tire and just took care of it. In a world where you often doubt everyone and expect to be taken advantage of, I was thrilled to have a little bit of faith restored. Thank you!

I bought a couple tires online and I needed someone to put them on. Firestone and Discount Tire wanted $80 and Gene's quoted me a price of $50 so I made an appointment for 2:00pm the next afternoon. I let them know that I had to be somewhere by 4:00 and they said it shouldn't be more than an hour. I am happy to report that it only took 40 minutes and the price was exactly as quoted. Anyone who's dealt with mechanics knows this is rarely the case. Nice people to boot. I would definitely use Gene's again.

This is the place we have taken our cars for over a decade now. Recommended by my father in law. I love em, they do quality work, they honest and the number of times my bill has been shockingly low because they aren't out to nickel and dime you is tremendous. Took my new (old) van in for a safety inspection today, my break lights were out, something to do with a switch that needed adjusting -- they just fixed it, didn't charge me even though I'd have happily paid ... and this is why they get the bigger jobs when they come up.

brought in a car for an alignment. after getting nothing but excuses from Firestone and big-o on why they couldn't. the guys here we're super friendly and reassured me they could do the work. it's hard to find reliable shops and I can vouch this is one of the good ones

Fair and honest — definitely a rare trait these days. They do great work and provide stellar service, and we make it a point to take our vehicles here for service and maintenance.

Luke works the front desk/first impressions and he is very helpful. I had a dead battery that was just out of warranty and and he was able to work with the manufacturer and take care of it. Scott the owner is honest and will do his best to provide great service at a fair price.

The crew at Gene's is AWESOME! Their work on my 2012 Chevy Cruze was quick and thorough. I'll keep taking my vehicles there and recommend anyone else to do so!

Gene's is the only place you need to go. They have been helping with my vehicles for many years. They don't attempt to add on unnecessary items and they are always good on scheduling and completing work on time. Unexpected repairs happen and they have never failed to quickly assist with the problem. You just need to make an appointment now!

She broke down on the way from NY to visit . And we're able to get it fix in time to for her to leave

I actually only stopped in here for a few minutes to pick up my girlfriend's son's baseball jersey. Either way whoever helped me gave only the indication of a very personable friendly staff. I have no doubt their service quality reflex similar ethics.

Took my '69 Mustang in for an alignment this morning. They were very courteous and amiable to my requests of how and to what degree I wanted the alignment done despite the difficulties in working on a 50 year car with a bent lower control arm. They did a great job and I'll be going back again.

I called all over north KC a few years ago for tire prices and Gene's had the best deal. Since then I've taken my cars to Gene's several times for tire replacements and always had excellent service. I'm disappointed to read the 2 negative reviews on this site, and expect that Gene's promptly remedied these problems. This is a good business with many years service in Liberty. I'll call on Gene's first, next time I need tires.

Always get u in and out as quick as possible and I’ve never been more happy and they will tell u how it is and let u know if ur car isn’t worth being fixed only shop I trust

They really strive to help you any way they can. Super friendly and family owned. They even have a waiting area for kids. Won't take my car to get work done anywhere else

My wife & I brought our vehicles in recently based on a recommendation from my boss at O'Reilly Auto Parts Distribution Center - Both times they found only minor trouble and only charged us $45 each so they aren't the type of repair business that "finds" many other expensive problems that don't exist
