We worked with Russ to plan our honeymoon. We knew we wanted to stay at a Sandals resort and were interested in one of the smaller resorts. Russ ultimately helped us pick Sandals Grenada. He had visited the resort and made recommendations that were exactly spot on. He urged us to stay in a beachfront room and he was exactly right! The view was breathtaking. He also encouraged us to book at the Club level and it was the best decision. We had a lot of moving pieces with our trip and Russ ensured the payment piece was correct and we didn’t have any issues. He also provided us a pre trip summary that was extremely handy that included all of our flight information and a resort checklist for tips and tricks to use once at Sandals. We found everything Russ told us to expect and do was the best practice and found ourselves saying multiple times “Russ was right”.

We had originally booked our trip in late 2019 for our upcoming wedding in April 2020. Due to Covid we had to rebook our honeymoon three times before we finally went in April 2021. We couldn’t have asked for a better agent to oversee the constant resort closures, airline changes, and Covid restrictions. Russ stayed on top of the airlines and Sandals and made sure we were getting the best deals. If we weren’t working with Russ we probably would have canceled all together because the restrictions and changes were so overwhelming. Russ made sure we were prepared with all the Covid guidelines and worked with the airlines to make the numerous reservation changes.

We highly recommend working with Russ as his thoroughness and customer service are unmatched. We can’t wait to work with him on our next trip, hopefully to Sandals!

We haven’t traveled in over 20 years. We wanted to go on an Alaskan Cruise but were uneducated about them. So, I contacted RD Travel and spoke with Russ. He asked a few questions on what we were wanting to do then he took it from there once he had flights, hotel and cruise lined up we set up a meeting with him. He went over and explained everything, even gave us a few pointers on things to do and not do. We went on our cruise for our 40th Anniversary and it was perfect. Everything went smoothly and had no issues with anything. I am so glad I called and spoke with Russ. I could not have done this without his knowledge and help with this trip. We set-out to plan for a visit with a friend in Southwestern UK. Our flight there plus some siteseeing suggestions in Bristol were perfect. In discussing our ideas, we decided on adding a time in Dublin on our return trip to the states. The hotel and tours were spot-on. Hotel was a great location and beautful facility. Gourmet breakfast, outstanding dining, an easy access to the tour gathering points, and close for walking about the city and shopping.

RD booked us on the Rocky Mountaineer travel through the Canadian Rockies. Russ could not have been more helpful in preparing us for travel to Canada, being ready for the rail journey, and spending quality free time in Vancouver. He exceeded expectations.

Russ is a great travel agent, he is very versed in all things travel, but especially Sandals and Beaches resorts. We very much enjoyed the resort he recommended to us.

Being a former small business owner I sought out a travel agent I could support that was local. Googling web sites I found RD Travel. Russ was up front about his fee for information, which I did not mind, he has to make a living too. Russ accommodated myself and four other friends coming from other states for our vacation in Vegas. Russ took care of flights, lodging, and rental car. Russ gave us valuable tips to make the trip stress free. I will use him again when my high school friends of 39+ years plan a new destination. Russ recently booked a tour to California’s Wine Country for my wife and I that was far more enjoyable than we could have imagined. His choice of lodging for us in Wine Country was perfect. Our wine tour guide that Russ recommended was not only extremely knowledgeable but entertaining as well. We ended our tour in San Francisco for a couple of nights where Russ found us a reasonably priced hotel in a great location. All in all, this was a fabulous trip. We highly recommend Russ for your Wine Country experience.

When we took our family of ten on a Royal Carribean cruise, Russ helped us make all the plans. Coordinating schedules and transport for a group this size is never easy, but Russ handled it all. We had a great vacation!

We just returned from a family ski trip that Russ set up for us. Everything Russ said he would do, he did. We had not been skiing as a family and if you know what it takes to ski in Colorado, you know how many things there are to coordinate, time and do. Russ made arrangements for most and advised us on the rest. We are already planning our next trip with Russ at the lead.

Russ helped my wife and I book our honeymoon. Neither one of us had really traveled before, let alone internationally. Russ was very helpful throughout the whole process from passport info, to booking, and finally his recommendations once we were at our destination. I gave my wife a Bucket List trip to Ireland for Christmas in 2017.

I met with Russ to plan the 10 day tour. There were very specific requests, including that my Mother-In-Law would be touring with us, so every different lodging would need to be able to sleep three adults.

All I can say is that it was a trip of a lifetime. I can honestly say that there wasn't one issue with any part of the trip.

Flights were on schedule, our Driver was amazing, every reservation from the hotels to all the activities went off without any problems.

When my wife and I took a vacation to my daughter’s place in Eagle Creek Oregon, I asked Russ to put an itinerary together to do the northern segment of the county on AMTRACK. Russ set-up the train from Kansas City to Chicago, found a great hotel to spend the night and a ticket with a room on the train to Portland. When I told Russ that we were going to bring some kittens back from my daughters, he chose a nonstop Southwest flight back to Kansas City. There were no problem’s. Russ’s travel portion was very well put together. Thank you, Russ. You did a fine job.

Our family just returned from Alaskan cruise that Russ help us plan. It was definitely the best vacation we have ever had thanks to Russ. He thought of every detail in planning our trip and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We look forward to working again with him soon!!!

While it is certainly easy enough to book much of our own vacations online these days, when something goes wrong and experience is needed it's nice to have Russ on your side.
We had a Scandinavian cruise, flights and hotel booked through RD Travel when everything started going sideways with COVID-19. Russ handles it all, knowing when to hold 'em, and when to fold 'em. Gave me great peace of mind.

My husband and I decided that we needed to do something big to celebrater our 5th anniversary. I had always wanted to do an all incusive vacation, and wanted to go to Jamaica. Russ put together a wonderful package for us with Sandals in Jamaica. This was one of, if not the best vacation I have had. The resort was wonderful, we were always treated great by all the employees. The package that Russ got us included a 90 minute massage and it was amazing!!! I worked with Russ booking my cruise. The experience was first rate, and even got me an upgrade I hadn't expected. Thank goodness he was there to help me with paperwork. It was nice to know I was leaving with all the documentation and a good idea what to expect each step of my way. My family and I took a ski vacation this past weekend to Breckenridge, CO and enjoyed ourselves every minute of the three days we were there.
