My new favorite coffee shop! Perfect to stop on the way to downtown or the East Side. Such an adorable atmosphere with a surprisingly large back patio. I will definitely choose Arroz for coffee dates, meetings, and hangs of all kinds.

I haven’t stopped talking about the Chocobanano mocha!! Shannon got the El Morro and wow! The cream was out of this world. So heavenly.

Coming back as often as I can to try all of the drinks and the vegetarian food options ❤

The back patio area is gorgeously arranged. I sit back there for hours from time to time enjoying all of the Salvi/Chinese fusion delicacies. The bolo bao breakfast sandwich and smash burgers are incredible. Remember to ask for the breakfast sandwich Leo style. Also, they serve the best single origin coffee in LA. Cipota Coffee is the female owned coffee company sold exclusively at Arroz & Fun. 10/10

My boyfriend had heard about this place through Instagram and was very excited because he's Salvadorian. He really wanted to try out the coffee and food. We got there early after hiking, so the place had plenty of seats. They have a couple of 2 seaters on the inside, and then more space on their patio. To clarify, this place isn't owned by Salvadorians. They use a coffee brand that is Salvadorian owned. The food, though, is a mixture of Asian, and Salvadorian, which is pretty cool. We each got a breakfast sandwich and some churros. Need to come back and try more.

Great spot for Breakfast and Lunch, easy patio hang out. Tasty food with Taiwanese and Cantonese influenced flavors into comfort food that is the So. Cal food scene. Great Bolo "pineapple" bun, but also made into a Breakfast Sando! Bbq pork bun, coffee sourced from El Salvador and made into delicious beverages. "Arroz & Fun" Definitely has unique flavors that must be sampled, then come to decide which is the go-to weekly comfort Dish & Drink! Cute place, friendly cool people.

Stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday morning while walking my dog in the neighborhood. The owners of the old Gamboge (who still own the building) are partners of Arroz & Fun. The current restaurant owners are really nice, and the breakfast sandwich I had was great! The bun was sweet and savory, and the egg was silky and runny, just how I like my scramble! You can get it with bacon or spam for another dollar. Back patio is still quaint and relaxing! Nice to read a book back here.

We got the Chocobanano Mocha and El Morro to drink - both really unique tastes! The standout dish was the breakfast bolo with the Salvadoran chorizo patty. We will definitely be coming back for that breakfast bolo! The vibe in the outdoor seating area is really great, too.

Any time I'm in the neighborhood I make it a point to stop in; let me tell you why...

Bolo bao is a good time already, but then they made it into a breakfast sandwich with Salvadoran chorizo, egg, and Peruvian green sauce- I wish I was eating this every morning are you kidding me?!

Single origin Salvadoran cold brew coffee with morro cream- where else are you going to get this?!

On top of their great food everyone who works there is really friendly, and the back patio is a really nice place to chill.

I'm not passing up any opportunities to go to Arroz & Fun/Cipota Coffee. You'll see what I mean once you've tried it.

This is a hidden gem that needs to go viral! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and grab some food and coffee! I had the opportunity to meet the owner of Cipota Coffee and she was pleasant and took her time to show me their coffees and where their coffee is sourced from El Salvador.

I had a latte that includes panela and it was perfectly sweetened.

I'm so happy to support a local Salvadoran business!

I had the Pollo Guisado paired with a Lorroco Serrano scone and a nice cold bottle of Mexican coke. Comfort food at its finest. Oh and the aesthetics of the place is nice enough to make all my east coast coworkers jealous of my background when conducting my daily Google meetings!!! 🤤🤓

Amazing food. Absolute flavor town here, come here for something delectable and a pleasant environment. Perfect for singles and couples and everyone under the sun. Get the Bolo Burger for the best burger in your life. The rice dishes are also ace. Fulfilling and tasty. My girlfriend loves the shrimp rolls. It’s probably the best Latin-Asian food in the area!?

Above and beyond! I arrived around closing time, and to my delight, they willingly opened their doors for me. I came for some coffee but ended up leaving with an enchanting conversation about the coffee itself, the store, and the overall essence of the place.

A slice of LA right at home here! If I were able to express myself better, I would. Huge thanks to the fantastic team behind Arroz & Fun for the exceptional experience.

Cipota Coffee is undoubtedly the real deal. These aren't just bulk beans picked up from some random distributor; the owner truly knows her craft! I just brewed a cup of the coffee at home and I'm already eagerly anticipating more.

Lots of bike parking!

A Culinary Gem in the Heart of Los Angeles. I have been fortunate to explore numerous dining spots, but none have quite captured my heart and taste buds like Arroz and Fun. Tucked away in the vibrant and bustling heart of the city, this culinary gem has elevated the dining scene with its innovative and extraordinary menu. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of food served — the people are extraordinary — and it’s a perfect atmosphere for a coffee and snack in the morning but also a fun, relaxing, and even romantic cozy evening during dinner time. Can’t wait to come back with friends.

I tried Arroz & Fun for the first time and really loved the food. I ordered my latte to go and it was supplied by Cipota Coffee! I am a huge coffee fan, so this was such a nice treat. The blend was perfect and it was amazing with oat milk. We also ordered a couple of the bolo sandwiches to go, and it hit the spot. We can't wait to come back and try their lunch and dinner service! Everything on the menu sounds amazing.

Also really love the concept of Chinese/Taiwanese influence, and as well as Salvadorian flavor. They serve coffee and drinks from both regions.

I was sad to see gamboge close, but I’m so happy that arroz and fun take over the space. The coffee is delicious (the morro cold brew is delicious and unique) and the bolo bun sandwiches are so good. The fish one is my fave so far! The bolo buns are so light and fluffy and the perfect amount of savory / sweet. Perfect spot for meeting a friend for lunch or bringing your laptop to work.

Fantastic new restaurant with great dishes. I tried the Ani Onion Smash (burger) which was a nice combination of flavors. Soboro Don was also really good, the texture was surprisingly light and the egg yolk spot on.
