Rancho Grande Cantina

We went here for a family birthday lunch during the weekend and I really enjoyed our experience. The hostess was very friendly and quickly got our tables ready since we had a huge party. There was already salsa and water starting to arrive at our table when we were almost finished getting seated. Our server was seriously fantastic. So personable, very attentive, and honestly did just a great job.

The restaurant itself has a nice bar & grill feel to it mixed in with it definitely being in Kansas City (Chiefs and Royals décor). There are TONS of TV's in here too.

The menu is almost too big, and has a great selection of items including daily specials every day of the week. The chips and salsa were decent. The chips were perfectly cooked but the salsa was too sweet with not enough spice. Flavor was ok though. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Wrap with Rancho Grande dip smothering it. The burrito/chicken wrap was massive and packed with flavor. I loved what I ordered and was really impressed.

Overall, I thought our service and our food were 10/10 and made for a wonderful dining experience here. I hope I get the chance to come back here and try something else!

My wife and I had a standing Tuesday night date, we probably went 40 times a year for about five years. Service was great, two fer tacos were an excellent value, and we made a lot of memories there. She passed away last year, and I’ve been there twice since. I always order her a frozen margarita no salt, and leave it sitting on the table when I leave! I miss you, Jamie!

I was starting to get disappointed with the options for Mexican food in Liberty. We’ve hit a few of the highly-rated restaurants and found them to be average at BEST. Granted, I’m a bit spoiled with Mexican restaurants, being a recent transplant.

We tried Rancho Grande Cantina on a whim and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! It’s definitely a solid choice and we’ll be going back. This will be our go-to for the time being.

This is my Thursday night bar with the Boys. The Mex is very good. I personally love the wings, crispy Taco's and the Loaded Tostadas..
Have to admit, we drink and eat apps mainly.

The Plaza burrito is to die for! This place is wonderful. Always great food as well as great service. Oh, and the margaritas are never sour. Bonus tip: They can accommodate large groups in a snap❣

Best deep fried tacos in the city. Raina our waitress was the absolute best. Great instincts and wonderful service!

Take out girls were great! Ran everything out and didn’t make anything complicated like some places!

Was a delightful experience. The waiter and hostess were very polite. Atmosphere wasn't as authentic, but enjoyable. There's a bar and plenty of screens. Food was amazing and I'd definitely come back again. Also would recommend.

Met again at this great restaurant! New people came to the lunch! Another great hostess! In fact, she took the selfie 🤳! Very attentive to what we needed. Her name is Kiarah! My meal, half eaten, was the 2 Piece Platter! Took rest home!

Absolutely love their frozen margaritas although this locations Frozen machine seems to mess up quite a bit, the parkville location has better drinks

I'll keep this simple. Best Mexican food in KC. Tender flavorful rice, rich creamy refried beans and cheese enchilada ta die for. Go there now. Yum

Wish there was a family place like Rancho Grande in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Will definitely bring the grand kids back the next time we visit. Employees were great. So young and confident about serving the customers. Wow, its a throw back from when I was younger in the 70's. Seems nobody wants to hustle anymore except for here at the Rancho Grande. Thank you soooooo much 😘

If you’re craving Latin American food, Rancho is the place for you! Their chicken chimichangas are delish! Usually a small wait to get seated because it’s so popular!

The best chicken flautas. Taco and enchilada were yummy too.

Great place for Mexican food. We had the veggie fajitas and they were fantastic. Not greasy at all and tasted fantastic. I recommend getting the hot salsa and the guacamole too.

Excellent Mexican Food. Never disappoints! Best in the KC area. They have awesome daily specials, too. For you, Taco Tuesday, frugal folks, they do theirs on Thursdays. BOGO beef and chicken, hard or soft. Highly recommend Rancho Grande. This review is specific to the Liberty location.
