Missouri Western State University

I enrolled at Missouri Western in the mid 70’s and graduated in ‘79.
Campus was much younger then.
But I’ve always received quality instruction from professors who taught from a very practical
viewpoint.
Campus has a diverse amount of student organizations for social interaction & service to the community. Quality sports teams to support and now an amazing stadium facility.

Seeing the Chief's training camp was amazing. Beautiful school and practice field.

Beautiful campus and quality athletic facilities. Seems to work for the Kansas City Chiefs pre season camp.

Offers degree in Technical Communications! If you want a degree in English that will lead to employment outside of teaching English or in Journalism, then MoWest has you covered!

So much fun watching practice! We also got to meet the President of the School, Mrs. Kennedy! Elijah is planning to go to MWSU

Went to the Kansas City chiefs training camp. Very well laid out to park, but no info on what we could or couldn't take in. We did get golf carted to the gate and taken back to our car. Very nice for our 26th anniversary!!

Went there yesterday, July 30, 2021, to attend Kansas City Chiefs Training Camp. Much was not available due to fools not being vaccinated for covid. No autographs this year, and more distance between players and fans. That made perfect sense, and it is good they did that.

Further, they had golf carts to pick up, and return us disabled folks to their cars. They gave much latitude to that, due to the oppressive heat. I miss camp being in River Falls, WI. Much cooler weather, a lovely little town, with a really nice little University. However since I've moved back to the KC area, it is easy to get to, as was River Falls was when I lived in the Twin Cities. No complaints. Very professional operation, and I intend to return next year. Hopefully covid is finally over by then

This was our 2nd year attending Chiefs Training Camp and it's never a disappointment! The facility is amazing!!!!

Missouri Western State University, home of the Griffons. What can I say, you are not just a number at MWSU. The classroom size, student to professor ratio is second to none. From Admissions, to Financial aid, the Business office and the Registrars office, they are all very professional. In person classes are Monday through Thursday. The professor's office hours, they are there to answer any questions or concerns that you have as a student. Make it a point to support the many athletic teams at Missouri Western. Also, there are several Campus Activities as well as Clubs and Organizations to participate in. Come for a visit, you'll be glad you did. Stay for your Education.

As a graduate, I have always enjoyed the campus. As a Chiefs fan at training camp, the backdrop is perfect for our team to get ready for the season.

My son attends the university and it felt like home the first time on campus. A family atmosphere.

A great stadium!!! Jumbo score board. An all around great view of the players. Seems like you're almost down on the field!!

Great smaller University. If you are looking for a crowded campus and to be just another face in the crowd. This is not for you.

MoWest has a more personal touch with great academics. GoGriffons

Great campus. Amazing stadium with a huge end zone big screen. Nice turf. A really nice experience.

Current student(2017) and I can say this school is what you make it. There are tons of opportunities for students, you just have to be on the lookout. A great option for local students and those from across the country.

My daughter has finally found a college where she feels comfortable Missouri western state is so family friendly and have the students their #1 priority we love this place
