Planet Sub Downtown STL

Very cool spot downtown, when the construction ceases! The Philly cheesesteak Sub was great. Ordered for pickup near a weekday closing times. One of the only days I was able to make it in prior to closing.

Strolling through the downtown and stumbled upon this sandwich shop. It may or may not be a chain, but it was great! They had lots of vegetarian options and the sandwiches were big enough to split for 2 meals. Dine in and take out options available. All indoor seating. Had chips and a drink with the sandwich and they even had warm cookies, haven't had a snickerdoodle in years. Thanks for the great meal.

I love my sandwiches. The price is good, the food is delicious. Yum yum. I recommend it. Oh yeah, they use cards to identify your order. For example, a 5d means five of diamonds and they will give you that card.

This is a hidden gem of a sandwich shop in downtown St. Louis. I have been several times and their hot sandwiches never disappoint. The best way to describe them is that they are a little like a Quiznos sandwich, but they actually taste good. They give you lots of quality ingredients then toast it with gooey melted cheese. Yum. The people who work there are super nice and I will definitely be back again.

I order from here about once a week. I have nothing but nice things to say. The service is always super friendly and speedy, and the sandwiches are amazing! The food and delivery is always ready before the expected time. Please do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Awesome customer service and great food. I work at a location that requires a delivery. The guy on the bike is really friendly. I’ve never had to wait more than 30 mins for my food. Great work!

The Buffalo chicken sub on gluten free bread is excellent. It’s tasty, reasonably priced, and close to the office. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Food was great, service might have been the best and most hospitable i’ve ever seen. Owner was nice, gave a bunch of recommendations for food and even helped with parking when our meter was confusing. I got the experience, which came out within a minute, (and we had 3 subs). Overall I will 100% be coming back and you should come too.

The subs are made fresh, and good value for the size sandwich you get.

Sandwiches were good and came out hot. The gluten free bread was flaky and delicious. Has great vegetarian options. My bf said that his philly cheese steak was seasoned nicely. Owner was super nice and helpful!

Is there such thing as a bad sandwich shop? Certainly not. However, there is most definitely such thing as a quality sandwich shop.

I went to Planet Sub expecting a decent sub and a satisfied appetite. When I got there, the general atmosphere felt like home.

You know when you find a small town diner where everybody’s friends’ dads go to on a Sunday morning to read the paper with a fresh cup of joe? It’s like that, but all ages welcome.

When you find a seat, you’re free to explore the wonders of life, or perhaps even the planet. Whatever your thoughts, you’re free to ponder them in a homely environment conducive to all the answers of the world.

However, there comes a time when opportunity awaits. In this case, that opportunity is the sandwich of a lifetime.

This experience was a first for me. As mentioned, my expectations were nothing special, but the outcome was a home run from the stadium down the street, fireworks and all.

I was encouraged to try ‘The Experience’ and of course I wanted it in full (not half). When my sandwich was handed over to me, my experience of the world was forever changed.

As the chicken lay upon my tastebuds, I had to ask myself, “Have I recently ingested hallucinogenics, or is this just heaven?”

This, my friends, is where the name ‘Planet Sub’ comes from. From the moment the spice of the chicken broke through the seal of my sacred body, the world around me was transformed.

Like traveling through space at warp speed, the walls around me became extravagant flashes of light delivering me to the furthest depths of the universe and, all around me, planets made of the most eloquent sub sandwiches surrounded me as far as the eye can see.

Now, in this hour of satisfaction and a full stomach, I ask myself, “Was it worth it?”

Why yes. Yes it was.

Went there with co-workers not expecting much. Being my first time there, someone (maybe the owner) gave me recommendations and I ordered the Experience. It was in fact an experience that I want to try over and over again. Great sandwich and great atmosphere.

I can't give this place enough stars!! I love a good sub sandwich, but can't stand most of the popular places like JJ, Jersey Mike's, etc. But Planet Sub?! I love this place so much. The only one I know of still in business is in the city of STL. It's quite the drive for us, but totally worth it.

Craving a deli sandwich I went to barnetts, and they were out of lettuce so I ended up here. I'm sooo mad I'm late on discovering planet sub is one of the best sandwich shops in STL since I no longer live here. Now what I'm gonna do when I'm craving a sub🙃. I had the turkey with Swiss, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, olive, peppers, mayo, mustard, vinegar, and oregano.😋😋

Here is the deal! Food was hot and fresh. The customer service was very pleasing and welcoming. The Chocolate chip cookie was delicious. The decor was great! See pictures.

Omg! Best sub sandwiches ever. Everything is fresh and made to order. The service (customer service) I got was splendid👌🏾. Not to mention that I was able to buy a whole pickle (favorite). I'm delighted to have eaten 😋 from here and will definitely be back.
