I live in Springfield, so I'm a patient at Dove Dental on Battlefield. I'm going through the process of getting a Dental implant. That is one of the specialties at Nixa Smiles. 😃 It was so great going there to see some old friends and make new ones. It's a different experience when you have such a friendly and warm experience with people you not only consider your highly qualified Dental professionals, but also your close friends.

I'm 68 years old. Had lots of dental work over the years and always feared the dentist. From the time I walked in the door my tension began to subside. I filled out a form in the lobby and I added: I absolutely hate novacaine in the front of my mouth numbing my lips and up into my nose. But I was there to get a crown replaced....On my front tooth!!
As they worked on my old root canal I saw the needle coming and tensed up. Immediately I was told this is just for your gum That's all. They had read my notes and removed my fear!!! No numbness in my lips or nose!!!! They applied a temporary crown that looked really good. When I went in for the permanent crown, it was such a perfect match that it looks exactly like my real tooth!! ( the 2 front teeth in the middle) Amazing. In my 2 visits I had nothing but a fantastic experience! Nicest people ever. Very happy people. Great atmosphere. First visit I brought a 4 year old with me and they put her choice of cartoon on a big screen TV in my exam room. She loved it there too!

Dr. Steve Dove saved me from an unnecessary root canal!

Before going to Nixa Smiles I went to another dental office in the Springfield area, where I was told I would need a root canal on one of my front teeth. After hearing Dr. Steve’s ad on the radio I thought I would try his office for a second opinion.

Dr. Steve and his staff took the time to listen to my concerns and after my dental exam he told me I didn’t need a root canal! They were even able to straighten the appearance of my smile with a crown at my request.

Also, my kids are always excited to see Dr. Steve or Dr. Kelly. They truly make it a fearless experience for them.
