Coffee Break

I got an iced caramel breve and my sister got the cherry mocha latte and they were both DELICIOUS. The man was so friendly and welcoming and was so happy to tell us about how long he had been there, etc… also got a pastry with some almonds on top and it was fantastic! If you are in Bismarck, make some time for this cute little place.

Coffee Break is the best coffee place in all of Bismarck, Western ND and maybe all of ND. The owner is so nice and sweet, ready to hear all of your stories and talk to everyone in the community. The diversity of drinks available is large with many flavors to add to your drinks, and all of them are delicious. The ice used in the ice drinks is amazing and the milk is incredibly creamy. The prices are more than reasonable Lattes will run you about $5 and that’s way u Det paying for the quality of coffee. The atmosphere in the store is incredible as well, the decorations are welcoming and cute making you want to sit for hours. Wi-Fi is available as are bathrooms. The only thing lacking is convenient parking because the store is downtown, but there will usually be street parking in front and there’s a parking structure just down the street. Definitely check out Coffee Break if you’re in town!

Loved this place while visiting Bismarck! So many great flavored coffee options. Everything we got was fantastic, especially the chai latte. Great atmosphere too. They also provide newspapers to read if you want to stay a while!

I stumbled upon this gem on a business trip. The coffee was great and he has every syrup flavor you could possibly want. I got a latte with 2 syrup flavors and oat milk and it was under $5. I will definitely be coming back here every time I'm in town.

Our hour at Coffee Break was a surprise highlight of a family trip to Bismarck. We’re all coffee snobs, from New York, Chicago, Edinburgh, St.Louis and Madison. We were stunned by the quality, quantity, and variety of the offerings. My cappuccino must have been twelve ounces, and held its own with the best little five-ounce cups I’ve enjoyed in NYC. The Americano, iced chai, and flavored coffees were all hits too. The owner/barrista is delightful. Every cup is prepared with skill, patience, and a smile. The room is a little bit of Europe on Main St. - perfect for a long chat or reading the paper. I hope locals and visitors will skip Starbucks/Caribou and support a small business that offers superior value.

Great place to get coffee in Bismarck! Good flavored lattes for under $5, convenient location, lots of good flavor options, and every flavor of syrup. Non-dairy options and decaf available. Definitely recommend!

I had a few different drinks from Coffee Break and they've all been good. Unique drinks for a good price and the coffee is well-made. I like the vibes and decor of the store and the proprietor is very friendly.

Cya, the owner is amazing. And this is like the only place that I stop at when I come to town. I'm from out of town and the atmosphere of this place is extraordinary. It's very special and he has definitely his way with the coffee and his customer service makes you feel like family. Thank you cya

I went to Coffee Break during 4th of July. The person running the shop was very friendly and offered excellent service. The shop also has a great atmosphere. The prices were decent too, significantly lower than what Starbucks and other big brand coffee businesses charge. I ordered 4 drinks and two big pastries and the total was surprisingly under $20. I will definitely come back!

I came here on a whim and I am so SO glad that I did! I know the community loves e owner of this shop and it is SO easy to see why! Not only was the coffee amazing, the owner was such a pleasure to talk to. While I was waiting my toddler started throwing a tantrum, and he made her her own “coffee” for free to calm her down! So caring and kind, absolutely wonderful.

My favorite coffee joint. Unique selection, and friendly service. The old school atmosphere realy is hard to find most other places as well. I love the price, the place, and the product!
