Yangtze Chinese Restaurant

This buffet had some great food. It was hot and the staff was very friendly. Even singing Christmas songs. It was a pleasant visit. Variety of options. I recommend this Chinese buffet. The prices are relatively cheap.

Can't wait to try more stuff from their menu, they are very professional, sweet people. Set up and decoration are very traditional to their culture and the food is amazing!

Yangtze is the best Chinese food around! The owners and operators are the original people who started the business, and they’ve got everything on track. They are very accommodating, the food is fresh and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is quite pleasant. I eat-in and order from them regularly. It’s a must-try. Can’t say enough good about Yangtzee! (Hey guys, this is Dori)!

We had a really great meal at the buffet today! A group of 10 of us went on a float trip on the Current River and we stopped in Salem on the way back to Wentzville to have a bite to eat. This family is super friendly and treated us very well. All the food on the buffet was very tasty and fresh and the service was great. Thank you for having us!

Great food and a very attentive wait staff. They ensure everything on the buffet is to your liking and the variety is sufficient.

I ate there just the other day and I love how the ladies are so nice to everyone. They really try to make their place better and more enjoyable. And they're food is really good. I'm a picky eater, I have trouble with textures, but I can find a filling and diverse meal here that I enjoy

We go there every time we visit Salem. The staff is great and always up best and friendly and the food is great!

The usual variety of buffet fare as far as offerings go. The buffet is well maintained, and everything was hot and fresh. Our waitress was on top of our drinks and plates and the place was overall very clean and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

The owner, she is amazing. She makes sure to speak to each person, and makes your experience great! Atmosphere is great for friends and family! Food is awesome and so is the service! Thank you!

Have to put a edit in here the old owner is back, the food is great as it used to be. would tell you her name but I would butcher her name if I tried. Won't be back, the last three times we have been in there it has got worse each time and the last time we could not eat it was horrible to say the least. Told the owner, didn't even phase him but he took the 30+ dollars with out even a sorry.

For one thing I didn't go there just recently but I have been there and I'd give it 5 stars for everything. And from things I've heard from friends that have been there recently, it's still fantastic!

So so much better now than it was! The new owners are wonderful, so kind and the food is always fresh.

I've only been here, about four times, but every time I go, it gets better, and better.

The food is always hot, they replace empty food trays, with more hot food right away.

The food is super delicious, and the customer service experience is wonderful.

If they see your cop running low, they'll refill it right away.

They don't mind answering your questions, they greet you with respect, and you'll leave with a good experience every time out, if you eat here.

The owners of this place, are friendly, caring and make you feel like family. The food is amazing. Hot, fresh and tasty. She and Jerry take good care of thier customers. As for other reviews that people have posted about the tip thing. I worked there and ALWAYS got my tips. It's a hidden gem in our small town and One I'm proud we still have.

I love Sune and Her family, it’s nice to know She is back in Salem where she first started! I live in the Springfield Mo area and the Chinese restaurants here don’t even hold a candle, the one who was close, was China Pearl in Bolivar Mo. But they tore that place down and the lady retired. But no one does Chinese food like Sune does at Yangtze.

The owners are very nice and the food is great.
