Walmart Supercenter

This is the BEST Walmart I've ever been in! The store is always clean, especially the bathrooms which usually need a good cleaning, these bathrooms have always been clean and fresh smelling every time I've used them (easily a dozen times). I've witnessed some spills and the quick response of the employees is to be commendable as they FIRST ask the customer if he/she is all right and then reassure the customer that they won't be charged for the accident and that they will get it cleaned up right away. They then ask the customer to continue their shopping while they clean. The clerks on the registers have always greeted me as I walk up and always ask if I found everything I was looking for. All the employees here are very helpful, friendly and professional. I enjoy both shopping inside as well as ordering a curbside pickup. I am a disabled veteran and require the use of their electric carts to shop around inside. I have always found these carts clean, fully charged and ready to be used. Their cart retrieval team is awesome! On several occasions they have witnessed me struggling to walk to the front door and have found a cart outside in another handicap spot and drove it over to me saving me a painful walk to get a cart inside. I use this business for buying most all of my food, clothing, etc. I would highly recommend this business to everyone.
**UPDATE 6/19/23- APPARENTLY WALMART HAS CHANGED THEIR PHARMACY CLOSING TIME TO 7PM INSTEAD OF 9PM FOLKS. YES, I ARRIVED AT 710PM AND I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THEM CLOSED, HOPING IT WAS JUST FOR DINNER BUT NO, 7 PM IS CLOSING TIME AT THE SALEM, MISSOURI PHARMACY IN WALMART. I'LL HAVE TO GO BACK TO MORNING PICKUP.
UPDATE 10/4/23: Nothing new to report. STILL the cleanest Walmart I've ever been in, including the restroom! The customer service is and has ALWAYS been excellent here at the Salem, MO Walmart. I have always had no problem getting assistance, unlike the Rolla, MO Walmart Electronics department where I waited a good fifteen minutes to get any help. Evidently checking in stock here is WAY more important than helping the disabled! He knew I was waiting at his counter but STILL he continued to check in the delivery! When he realized I wasn't going anywhere,his attitude was not helpful and his response was angry and demeaning as he pointed in the general direction of where I could find the Internet router. I found them and left. The store was disorganized and I had trouble finding what I needed so I gave up, checked out and left. The employees truly are not happy to work there, even the cashier seemed annoyed. I'm going to just not go there and just get everything I need from the SALEM Walmart as I did when I got back home. My recommendation is to NOT use the Rolla, MO Walmart! Plus that store seemed "dirty" and the bathroom was not as nice as Salem Walmart's bathroom.

Walmart is a good place to shop for most anything you need and they have excellent carry out fried Chicken!

I enjoy dealing g with the emoyees at our Walmart. On the whole they are top shelf, kind & helpful people. They go out on a limb to hp their customers. I would be our friendly, helpful associates up against any other store. Bravo, Salem, MO Walmart.

After arriving they brought my order out pretty quickly and the employee was friendly had no issues

Salem Wal Mart is probably the smallest supercenterthere is but it is a grate store the people are friendly it's a good place shop

Very clean. Kinda hard to find things you don't normally buy. Everything's packed tight and some in weird spots. Overall though, best place around. Not many options...

Walmart was super busy today but they had plenty of cashiers open and seems to be a good flow.

There is a new cashier here at Walmart, Salem, Mo.... Tera, she has blue hair, so you can't miss her!! She is lovely and funny and will just make your day... Salem, treat her right... we need more people like her...

Not as big as a super walmart, but had what I needed or wanted.

This store is a hundred times better than the Rolla store. They have a smaller selection but they always seem to have most everything in stock.
I don't see very many employees working there and the ones that do seem to be watching you like a hawk as you're checking out at the self-checkers like you're going to steal something. And we're talking two or three people just standing around up there.
It would be nice if they would do a remodel on the store expand it and carry a few more products.
I'm also glad they started doing pick up which was another Plus for me switching to the store.
You can definitely tell a difference in management compared to the Rolla store thats rapidly going downhill.

It was 6:50 pm on a Saturday evening. Parking was great. I only had about 20 items to purchase. Several people stocking shelves ask if they could help me find anything. Only one cart ahead of me in check out. Cashier looked tired but was pleasant. A good experience I must say!

Our one room mall. I'm getting better at getting in and out quickly. It wasn't crowded today.

They always have what I am looking for.
They are very good about keeping the shelves stocked, as long as they have the product in stock. Staff is very friendly, and most of the time they are very helpful.

This is the only Supercenter I have been in recently that was well stocked especially in the produce section. Employees are very helpful, kind and friendly. Service is outstanding which makes the visit more pleasurable.

I love shopping late..no crowds, no lines at the registers..I just wish there were employees to check you out instead of self check-outs..but shopping late is best! Trying to give it 5 gold stars but it won't let me.

Don't know when.I made that last post so I dated this one. Walmart is walmart. They love changing placement of items still. But it's no biggie. My only vice.with them is their Garden Dept! I am a big plant person, I take good care of my plants so they thrive and it shows. It is my passion. So when I see tropical plants, flowers to plant, all with their heads drooping, leaves dry and curling and soil in pot is cracking like a dessert, I almost cant stand it. Right now they have a Swiss Cheese tropical indoor plant that I would love to have, until I saw up close. Every plant had at least one leaf brown and dead, one had all leaves turning and soil was dry! Then they were priced at $19.96..are you freaking kidding me? It's a new plant, so it would be good luck to turn it around. Seems like that dept doesn't have employes to just work that dept. It's not like working a dept with woman's underwear or stationary dept. Garden dept is a perishable dept., it needs constant attention. But first they need to hire people to train..which they will have to bring in someone to do the training. And when trained, leave them and allow them to do their job, or else eliminate that dept. Coz having plants and just letting them die is just bad upper management.
Other than that, rest of the store is fine.

Friendly staff,from the moment you enter the building! Fresh produce to the right. Smiling blue jackets throughout, ready to assist when needed. 2 thumbs up. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Can find most things cheaper here than at the dollar general store. Friendly staff. Good rotation in stock. Love the fish/pet department. Can spend all day in arts and crafts! Edit; They don't have fish in the pet department anymore.
