I have used American Home Patient for over 10 years and yes since bought out by Lincare there have been a few issues (phone issues, supply shipment issues and billing department issues) so no they are far from perfect but if you go into the local office off Salt Lick they are always friendly and willing to assist with any situation. Yes it’s not idea I have to drive to the office for issues but if thats what it takes to have my issues resolved that’s what I do. Always greeted by friendly staff and they totally understand the issues but unfortunately they can’t fix what corporate does! Remember reviews are only someone else’s option, don’t judge until you see for yourself how helpful and honest the branch staff is.

HELP. My father had equipment and has passed away. I do not have the patience to call one more time. Been on hold more than once, over an hour and eventually have to hang up. HOW DO I RETURN EQUIPMENT?

Do not use this company! There are many other medical supply companies you can use. Don’t make the mistake we made. They will annoy you everyday by phone and/or email to buy supplies. Our experience has been a nightmare! Run fast away from this company! Better Business Bureau will be hearing from us.

Unprofessional, unorganized and more! Tell you one thing and then say no we don’t do that. Won’t answer the phone to handle your issues. Moms hopsital bed rail broke the third day she had it no one would come out and when they finally did they didn’t have the part and never came back. Jodi is a piece of work. Extremely unprofessional, laughs in your face, lies, gaslights and more. And whomever is her manager is a piece of trash for allowing her horrible behavior towards their patients when they’re in need. Not sure who is running this business but if you don’t want to be lied to or disrespected or told you’re being done a “favor” when it’s their job, FIND A BETTER COMPANY! Will be reporting to the BBB

Don’t walk, RUN from this company! From their phone service company to their actual staff, horribly rude! And Jodi will cuss you out and refuse to submit a prior authorization to your insurance company, because “you need to follow her process.” Then when you ask her to stop cutting you off and listen to you she will cut you off to yell at you and then hang up. Only to call you back to inform you she reported you to your doctor and sent your prescription elsewhere because she’s done with you. Way to go Jodi, congrats you got out of doing your job of actually submitting a prior authorization! I’ll find a company with mature adults I can work with that actually follow in-network provider insurance agreements.

Forever on hold. Never call back. Even the parent company rep can't reach them. They used to be fairly responsive, but no more.

Never answer phone even if you press 1 claiming your a drs office. Very very rude. Have been waiting 2 weeks for them to pickup oxygen tank. Billing insurance but we're not using it. Fraud. Manager said she personnally pick it up. Well 10 days and still no one picked it up. Just reported them.

Company is very unhelpful in regards to CPAP recall. They don’t seem to have information and not willing to help. After they called to tell me there was nothing they could do (even after my physician ordered new equipment) they stopped sending supplies for my old machine. Other folks are getting newer equipment replaced but they have been anything but helpful.

I have used American Home Patient since I got my CPAP. This year they have not ever sent me the correct hose for my CPAP. I called and tried to work it out and instead of sensing me the correct hose, they sent me a note that basically send they'll could not correct the hose situation. No my last hose broke and I am holding a piece a paper. Thank you. Ordering off Amazon then getting a new company.

They NEVER call anyone back. You get voice mail. I have been waiting on a CPAP machine since March. I have severe sleep apnea.

Worked there for 3 months and they told me to lie to customers. I got fired for telling the truth to my patients. Don't use this horrible company

They are horrible. No one ever answers the phone and I’m trying to pay a bill (I’d use the automated system but have a question). They’re rude when you go into their office. Their regional affine in Atlanta don’t even answer their phones. Terrible customer service.
