Karsch's Village Market

New customer here. Here you get what you pay for, no question about it. Prices are not "Walmart" but the service and quality is light years ahead of any place I've patronized in over 50 years of buying food. We have purchased fine cuts of meat from just about every chain and independent meat shop within a 50 mile radius of St Louis. Not one single meat professional "butcher" has ever demonstrated the commitment to the customer and provided the superb cuts of meat Craig has done on our first three visits.

I am absolutely smitten with Karsch’s Market! Unlike larger grocery stores like Walmart, they offer a wide range of options when it comes to food prep. Whether you're looking for specialty ingredients or local products from amazing producers like Blue Hogs BBQ Sauce, Karsch’s has got you covered. They carry an extensive selection of their products, making it a one-stop shop for all your culinary adventures. It's a true gem in the realm of grocery shopping!

I really like this store people are so friendly,and they always have different things that the big chain stores don't have.

Love all the new choices they are getting in this small town store. My daughter has Celiac disease and we love it when we find local Gluten Free choices. Love the staff here they are always so helpful when shopping.

5 stars for the employees! They are what makes us shop there. Prices are OK, and definitely worth going to over Desoto Walmart! There meat department is great too.

This is a really good grocery store. The employees are really nice and very helpful. But just to let you know they are pretty pricey. They're not like Walmart prices. But if you need something quick drive-by oh yeah I forgot we need milk. Go to Karsch's!!!!!

Higher prices than other stores, but totally worth it. Selection is great, butcher shop is the best, literally the best. I figure the price is worth it to me for not having to drive 30 minutes to point A, and back to save $20.

This store and its staff take pride in serving their community. Clean and comfortable environment with prices that compare to the large stores..thats incredible for a smaller local store. Not to mention the on-site butcher and close and easy parking. Personal care items are priced right too which makes that easy.

Great customer service. They open another register if you have a large purchase. Great quality meat. Good selection of specialty items like Hungarian sweet paprika. No mask mandate!

Extremely clean, produce was very fresh and stocked full, impressed by the different products they had like fresh pumpkin seeds, dried fruits and nuts next to the onions and potatoes. Friendly and helpful employees. I thought I had lost my debit card at checkout, and they helped me look for it, even flipping through my newspaper and magazine, offering to call me if turned in. Turns out I dropped it outside my suv door 😲

Great food and wholesome people. An exceptional shout out to a worker named Travis who works in the meat department. He is the nicest person I have met at a grocery store ever. Super helpful and enjoyable. 10/10 would shop again.

We have stopped going to Chinamart and love our local market. They are a little more expensive but they are local so more convenient. Great meats. The few things we can't find, they will get. I'm a diabetic and love lemonade. They got me Simply light with less sugar. Staff is friendly and helpful. This old silverback is happy.

The store is very convenient to our house. The meat department is always well stocked and the butchers display the cuts very nicely, also they're very helpful . The store is kept very clean, the aisles are wide , and clean.
