I have had my auto & renter's insurance through them for many years. They always take care of my needs in a timely and friendly manner.

I had a good experience with John Jones at FCNB. Very responsive to emails and just took care of things.

I had been with them a couple of years for homeowners insurance and car insurance that was through Progressive. They never checked or contacted me to try and get me a better rate or coverage over the years, but did for my mom multiple times without her contacting them. Also when my 16 year old was added to my policy, which I had no idea happened, I was not aware they get added without your knowledge, they were aware and didn't even try to contact me. When I aksed them to look for better quotes they pretty much did not care. My next payment was scheduled to be over $1,000.00. Thats a lot of money for someone to spend and them to give no cares about it. They never got back to me with new quotes by the way. Ended up calling somewhere else for quotes and got wayyyy better pricing for car insurance that included my 16 year old, my homeowners insurance was better with better coverage, for 10 dollars a year more, which is literally pennies on the dollar when it comes to yearly coverage. I had no idea the gaps I was missing in coverage before. Also ended up getting life insurance with the other company. I don't know if they just didn't care because I am a woman under 35 and they thought I didn't matter or what. BUT I will never recommend them to anyone and I have told everyone I know about what happened when my 16 year old was added, and they have felt sick for me. I make sure to tell them the name of the broker that didn't help me.
