The drinks were good, food was better but the salsa?! Omg The best anywhere. I will be back for the salsa alone. The server was super sweet and accommodating. I'm glad I stopped in!

My only complaint is that it is way too dark in there. Turn the lights on! Lol

The best Mexican food I had this year!! I had the spinach tomato cheesy burrito . Also the chicken tacos on a soft shell!! My first thought of the tacos were they look dry.. once I bit into it …….baby the juice and flavor was bursting in my mouth.

The spinach burrito was so so delicious!! Of course I ordered some peppers!!

Food is great! Service is really nice. I had the vegetable fajitas and was extremely pleased with my selection. I would definitely recommend this place. Plenty of parking during lunch time.

Love the back to basics of this Covina. Good food and the tamales are worth waiting on. Haven't been here in years and nothing changed-thats awesome. The pricier places are mostly location, decoration, and dried up food for mus h more money. Do yourself a favor and eat hear. I had a beer mug the size of my head.

If you haven't had Mexican food here, you haven't had the best Tex Mex food ever. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant the whole of Missouri has to offer. I say that with full confidence because each time I've visited it has only made me fall in love with it even more!!

All their foods are fresh, piping hot, and full of flavors that will take you to Mexico without paying 90% of the airfare. They serve chips as soon as you enter with salsa and you can always ask them for a refill. The restaurant is huge and the servers are quick. This place never fails and deserves every bit of attention because it is simply that good. I fell in love with Mexican cuisine after eating here and not Qdoba. 🤪

Authentic Mexican restaurant, verified by a South American friend. The indoor decorations are also exotic. I tried the fajitas with steaks and porks. It came with great portions at a reasonable price. The food was good and the waitress was nice. I’ll recommend this place to anyone who loves Mexican foods.

I’ve been to Mi Ranchito many times and they never disappoint! Most recently, we celebrated a birthday on a Saturday night with a party of 11. They seated us quickly, service was speedy, and everyone loved their food. Even with a huge party, we received our food much faster than expected. My toddler especially loved his chicken and rice with cheese dip - which was a huge portion even for a kids meal! I wish I lived closer so we could come more often.

SALSA AND SERVICE! One way to judge a Mexican Food Restaurant is the quality of the salsa they serve and Mi Ranchito's salsa is fresh and tastes great. I love tasting the fresh cut cilantro and the chips always come out to the table warm. I have been coming to this location for over 15 years and have had many meals here. The volume of business they do is truly amazing and they always seem to have enough employees as the food comes out quickly and the service is great. The have specials several days a week and my favorite dishes include; Mexican Chicken Soup with Chicken, rice and avocado, Taquitos, Tacos, and Chile Authentic. The place is quite large and can handle big parties and if there is a line it moves pretty quickly.

Really good lunch specials! Most are less than $10 per person and service is fast. Good salsa and queso. The entree are well seasoned. Portions are enough to fill you up but not feel grossly full. The lunch cheese steak was very yummy!

The Yolandas lunch special is so good. Comes out fast and piping hot.

I love stopping at Mexican restaurants when I pass through different cities in order to taste a bit of my native cuisine but now that I’m vegan it’s hard to find locations that avoid added animal products. This location was wonderful and had a few vegan options I could choose from! The flavors were great, the vegan options I sampled didn’t upset my stomach. I also enjoyed the relaxed, albeit busy atmosphere.

Great Mexican food diner style restaurant. Big interior with murals. Flavorful food and WOW do you get a lot for your dollar. Portions are large and the food is fresh and served fast. A lunch special runs from $6.50 to $9 but even the smallest plate is filling.
Not fine dining. Not a hipster place. Just good food for the soul...

We are from out of town. We met up with some family here and let me say, this place was amazing! It was very packed so we knew it had to be good! Our children were also satisfied with what they got as well. Our server was quick and super friendly! Would definitely visit again!

I love the food. However, I just realized they charge 15% gratuity on carry out orders. I just paid $15 to have my food put in a plastic bag. And I always tip for carry out, not knowing until today that I'm tipping on top of the 15% they've already added.

The menu has great options and the chips and salsa are good. I love that you get to pour your own salsa and not wait for a refill when you need more to enjoy with your tortilla chips! The cheese sauce is amazing! Viewing the murals is a fun activity while waiting for your food.

The is a great place to eat with a group of friends or co-workers. The food is flavorful and not too spicy, but could be if you want. The service is fast and respectful. I go here often with work.

Food was delicious 😋 and priced reasonably. Staff is friendly and quick service. 10/10 recommended Restaurant.
