Concert Hall and Barrel Tavern

A mostly 5 star experience here. Loved the food (the caramelized pear & gorgonzola brat, turkey club with fried green tomatoes), service was great, really enjoyed it...until someone started smoking ☹ did not know this was still allowed in some states. Would still return, but next time for a carryout 🙂

Had a late lunch here, so we pretty much had the dining room to ourselves.
Got a side salad, which was a meal in itself. My wife and I split it.
Burgers were really good.
Grandson wolfed down the pretzel and chicken.
Waitress was attentive and friendly

The food, the service, the beer, the atmosphere, all was spot on. The bratwurst was fantastic, the local beer is extremely good. I chose this place randomly for my first visit to Hermann town after a trip down the 100 and I was very pleased.

Great burger and German sausage. The German potato salad was amazing and so was the pickled cabbage. The drinks were also great

The beer is cold and the food is hot! We stop by when we're traveling.
Herman is a great spot to stretch our legs on a long road trip. Food and beer definitely hit the spot.

The people who work here are always friendly. The food is pretty good. And the drinks always taste great and are not too expensive

Great place to have a beer and a snack and listen to the jukebox.

Good variety of food choices. Great selection of German foods on the menu. Building is old and has been left mostly origonal in structure. Quite a large number of tables to accomodate a bigger crowd if one is traveling in a group. Pricing is reasonable, in line with other restraunts of this type. Staff was courteous and took good care of us. If you are traveling in yhis area I suggest this as a good place to choose to dine.

Totally amazing food, this place has really good for American German food! The price for what you are getting is great, the quality and craftsmanship of the kitchen is amazing.

Very happy we landed here as our first stop in town. Great ruben sandwich and dessert. And drinks! Very cool that it's the oldest travern west of the Mississippi.

Great atmosphere and great service. **UPDATE** I visited the establishment again and received great service provided by Paige. She was very energetic and went out of her way to get me everything I asked for in a timely manner. I will definitely be returning

The food was very tasty. The chef salad was fresh with a fine variety of lettuce, meats and other veggies including refreshing cucumbers. The poppy seed dressing was good accompaniment. Paige V is an excellent server. My lovely spouse enjoyed the turkey sandwich and very crispy potato chips.

Awesome atmosphere, great food, and great drinks! Paige was fantastic behind the bar. Not being from Hermann, Paige made us feel very welcome. She is the reason we came two days in a row and this will be our new hang out when we come to Hermann!

Came into Hermann for the weekend completely blind. We usually like to check reviews and websites before visiting, but decided to risk it this trip. We were extremely pleased. The place was busy, but we were able to quickly get a table. Service was excellent! Food came quickly and we never had to ask for a refill! My wife went with the French Dip and I had a Patty Melt, both were excellent. We will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our meal here. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. We went on Thursday and on Thursday the have half price Ribeyes. Cooked to perfection! Atmosphere was fun.

This place is always a blast, good drink selection, nice staff and always fun to be had.
