Make sure you turn onto Riverlands way, from us-67 ( right at the Phillips gas station) and Not at the Red School Rd as the GPS tries to tell you to do, because you'll hit a closed road.

Bathrooms ( primitive) were open and plenty of parking spaces. Short hike with paved and gravel surfaces. paved path is muddy and slick in spots, but it's worth it at the end.

Amazing experience. The confluence is at the end of a long drive and a short walk. The park itself is just a lot and a series of posters explaining what makes it significant. There are restrooms as well. The trail to the end is an easy walk, paved part way and wide. The power of the rivers is something to behold.

Went here for a field trip. Although there's not much to see (or do), there's still fun to be had here. Bring some family members or some friends (or a whole class of people) and you'll see for yourself

Absolutely Beautiful. Little trail that dead ends to a little bench area right on the river. My boys found driftwood and learned how to skip rocks. Amazing! Will be going back!

Beautiful nature, gorgeous at dusk. Lots of frogs, deer, jackrabbits, storks, eagles.

The road in the park past the gate is 100% gravel, has no reflective signs or posts to indicate correct direction, sattelite works though. It takes longer to drive in a sedan vs truck/SUV, tons of wildlife out at sunset AND gates to the park are operated (and closed) remotely 30 min past sunset, on the dot. If you get locked in, a compact vehicle can fit through the boulders on the side by the gate, but best to call St. Charles Co. PD.

The bathrooms were closed, parking area was clean, quiet. Path to confluence is not well marked, no lights on the path for dusk or evening outing either. Water levels were low, area was cleared, but we saw a beaver resting on shore and decide not to approach nor walk past to the peninsula point.

Past visitors said area was closed, but now all signs are gone, park open 8am to ~9pm in summer (30 min past sunset).

A beautiful treasure near St Louis where Missouri River meets Mississippi River. The entry to confluence park is through a gravel off road. It’s amazing to see the waters merge. Loved being at this place. A must visit, want to go there again! Good for bird watching too!

It was a cold, windy with a little rain the day that we went. Loved it just for historical value. Regardless of the weather we were going
I can now say I've been at both ends of the Missouri River. And a new spot along the Mississippi.

Awesome place where the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers meet. About a one third of mile walk from parking lot to the confluence.

Really cool place to visit. It has clearly been flooded a view times, but they are keeping up the walkways, so they were clean and clear. The drive there was beautiful!!

A must visit for someone coming to STL .. a beautiful path leads to the spot where the two grand rivers Missouri and Mississippi meet…along the pathway, you will see lots of mulberry trees with sweet black fruits in summer that looks like the mini version of blackberries and tastes like one …delicious free dessert that nature provides! You can see Barges so close that go by the spot..don’t step on the rocks, just stay on the paved area.

Lovely place. Hard to get to with the Corps and MoDot construction, but if you're heading north on 367, I was able to get there by turning on to Red School road (Dirt Cheap) and making a left onto Wise Rd. Got me right onto Riverlands road with no worries.

This is a beautiful area to visit with tons of birds to watch. You can stand right where 2 great rivers merge, the Missouri and Mississippi meet here. It's a cool place.

Beautiful meeting point of the Mississippi and the Missouri. So interesting to see how the observations made by Lewis and Clark many centuries ago about the relative flow speed and muddiness of the two bodies of water can still be observed today. Humans come and go, but the rivers just keep flowing!

A must see if you’re in the area. Just a short hike to see the joining of two great rivers. It’s also a good picnic spot.

This place is truly unique. After driving 5 miles down a gravel road you will reach a well-maintained parking area with bathrooms. From there it's about .3 miles down a trail, some paved, some dirt, and you will be at the precise point where Missouri River and Mississippi River waters come together. You can see the swirl in the water where the two currents collide. There are large informative plaques the tell you about the place and it's history.

WARNING... there is an automatic gate where you turn onto the road that takes you to the park (Riverland Way). It closes by itself after the sun goes down, and you can't get out. Only the fire department has a key that will activate an electrical switch on the gate to open it.

In case you are wondering how I know all this... I got locked in when my wife and I watched a full moonrise at the point.

Beautiful. Problem is that you have to drive five miles gravel roads.
