Park rangers are pleasant and knowledgeable about the park.
I ride the bike path once a week and simply love it. I must add that they are currently doing lots of work on or by the paved bike path, so be prepared for some heavy equipment or closed sections.

I am an avid park-goer, and let me tell you, this park is HUGE!!! Many parts of the park have different things to see, such as museums, castles, the zoo, restaurants, boat rides, and so much more. I have been to the park three times, and each time, I check different parts to see new things. Moving to STL, this has become one of my favorite parts of my day off. I come here to enjoy the scenery and take my pup out for his daily exercise. I highly recommend checking out this park!

Another beautiful day for the zoo! I can never recommend the St. Louis Zoo, enough!
My family and I always have a blast when we go!! We happened to go on the very last day for the dinosaur kids park! They've been rated as the number 1 free zoo in America multiple times for a reason!

My favorite park in St Louis. Did you know that the architect who designed Central Park in NY designed Forest park as well. Love running the trails in the park. It’s full of deer and other wildlife. Makes you one with nature.

Forest Park is always a good to go and check out the new events of what's happening. There's tons of events going on at the park and there is always something to do. Forest Park is always fun anytime of the day. I highly recommend you bring the family and explore the exciting things going on at the park.

Forest Park is the coolest park in the country. Seriously. The paths through and around the park deliver you from the golf course and swanky unique homes through a wildflower abundant re-wilded grassland and deposits you at the entrance of the Zoo (which is FREE)! Choose a different route and you are circling the Missouri history museum (also free) bursting with interactive exhibits, gliding past the jewel box, and strolling into a planetarium 🪐! The things you could see and do for free are mind boggling! I have gotten so much exercise and sunshine just because Forest Park is so alluring. There is a massive hospital on one end and a university on the other. Gorgeous architecture lines the bordering streets. Many paved and unimproved paths to explore. I ❤ STL

One of the best city parks you'll find - especially because it's free. We went for the Wildlights Holiday event and we weren't disappointed.

Excellent park for enjoying nature. They have walking, jogging, and bike trails trails. The area has streams, ponds, and fountains throughout. Very well maintained. You will often see various wildlife. Trails are wide and big enough for traffic both ways. Very much enjoyed walking here.

The most magnificent park in the area! Love the walking paths, boat house, zoo and all of the museums. Did you know it is larger than New Yorks Central Park?

Wow, Forest Park in St. Louis during autumn is like walking through a painting! The trails were unreal with colors that photos just can't do justice. Reds, oranges, and yellows lit up the trees, making each step feel magical. It's hard to believe you're in the middle of a city when you're surrounded by such natural beauty.

The trails themselves are superb, well-maintained, and easy to follow. Perfect for a run. The vibe is relaxed; people jogging, couples taking in the scenery, and even some photographers trying to capture the perfect fall shot. You'll find spots where the canopy of leaves is so thick, it's like walking under an umbrella of colors.

Despite it being a busy park with a zoo, museums, and other stuff, the trails give you this sense of peace and isolation. If you get the chance to visit in the fall, don't miss it. The autumn colors make it a whole different experience, one you won't forget.

Forest Park is a gem of a location, boasting vast expanses with so much to offer. The free museums are a delightful bonus, and one could easily spend an entire day exploring and enjoying all that's on offer. A must-visit when you have the time to truly soak it all in!

This is an amazing park with multiple areas of activities for family activities. It was really busy this weekend so it was difficult to drive through some areas but it was still a great experience for the family. We got adventure passes for the zoo online which made getting into events easier. The train lines were too long so we walked the whole zoo and had a great time.

This is right next to the St. Louis Zoo. There is so much wildlife here. Not your traditional park, but it is huge with so much to do right in the middle of downtown St. Louis. The hammock spots are my favorite, and make for a very romantic date :) . We watch the birds, squirrels, and 3 huge deer (one big buck) stayed by our hammock for about 20 minutes. This park is a nice escape from the city.

Man, Forest Park is HUGE! Like, I heard it's even bigger than Central Park in New York. Can you believe that? I went there once, and I'm pretty sure I've only seen a fraction of it. Feels like I need at least 10 more trips to see everything.

**What I Liked:**
- It's seriously big. I mean, you could get lost (but in a fun way).
- Everything's clean and well-kept. Props to whoever's in charge of that.
- Got a dog? Bring 'em! Just keep 'em on a leash.
- Even with lots of folks around, it doesn't feel crowded. So many paths to choose from.
- Parking's a breeze. Found spots easily, and they were free.
- Multiple ways to get in, so it’s super accessible.
- Oh, and there's an art museum and a zoo. And get this, the zoo's free!
- If you're into geocaching, this place is like a goldmine. So many to find!

**What I Didn’t Dig:**
- Seriously, nothing. The place is pretty awesome.

In a nutshell, Forest Park is the place to be. If you haven't been yet, what are you waiting for? See you there!

Such a beautiful park to stroll through. It offers many wonderful things to do also. We went to the Jewel Box and the Zoo but on our next trip we will take in the Planetarium and Science museum, etc. In the evening, we went to the Muny and saw a fabulous show!
