The food was phenomenal 😋 The service was great! My husband got the enchiladas verde and I got the chicken Pina fajitas. The chips were hit and fresh!!

My husband, 2 kids and I really love Carmen’s and drive 30 minutes per way to eat there! They have really wonderful food, we often get the fajitas. The environment doesn’t scream Mexico, like some restaurants but is always clean and fast paced. Service is good, although we have to ask for things (napkins, to go boxes, check) more often than most.

Looking for a tasty spot in Lees Summit for Mexican cuisine?? Carmen’s Cantina & Mexican Grill will have you leaving happily stuffed. The pineapple fajita mix was stacked as high as possible with meat and topped with slices of fresh pineapple. The margaritas are worth every penny!
We sat the bar but there is plenty of seating for families and couples.

The food is always amazing. I usually get their chicken plate since it's consistently delicious, but this time I got their enchiladas espinaca and it was also really good. Their chicken is never dry, their cheese sauce/queso is very good, and their chips and salsa are always fresh.

First time being here and I'll say it won't be our last! Atmosphere is what you would expect a Mexican type restaurant to be. Service was very good, drinks were never empty and as soon as our chips were almost gone they brought us more. My wife is very picky about white cheese dip. She liked it so much we had to get a large order to take home with us. She had a chicken quesadilla entree and I had the steak jalisco. Both entrees were very hot and fresh and smelled amazing. The Jalisco came out and was still sizzling. The peppers and onions mixed with the ribeye steak and shrimp smelled so good. We were very satisfied with the flavors and how everything was seasoned. We ended up having more than we could eat so we had some to take home to enjoy again. Can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu. Maybe even a couple margaritas.

This restaurant is awesome!!!! I'M A REGULAR! The staff is friendly and inviting! The food and drinks are excellent! The service is everything and more! Really a wonderful mexican spot to grab lunch or dinner!

The food and margaritas were excellent! The waitress in our area seemed to have too many tables to make her attentive to everyone, but she was pleasant, and did her best! Overall good experience!!

We got there a little before 11 (when they open) they welcomed us in to have a seat. The food we ordered was hot and really good. Will definitely be back!

Service is really great at this restaurant. They really tend to you well and make sure you have what you need and they do it with a good attitude. The food is really good not sure it's a 5....... but service is for sure

Best Mexican food I’ve had in KC yet! I got their chicken cheese (queso) and rice and it was so dang good! Their chips and salsa are also really good.

I came from Michigan to visit my Mom and Dad. They recommended we go to Carmen's for dinner. I haven't had such good Mexican food since I was in Mexico. They surpassed my expectations and I can't wait to visit again so I can go back and get my grub on!! Our server Kelsin was great and made our experience even more memorable!

Great food at a good value! I always get the grande quesadilla, 2 big quesadillas for $12! Chips and salsa always taste fresh, good Horchata as well!

The food was absolutely phenomenal, the portions were really big, the food was really hot when it arrived. the chip and salsa refills were always on point, the service was impeccable, the serving staff is so friendly and polite. The atmosphere was busy. And kind of loud! But bussin with business.

Great service! Thankful for finding the place and their truly authentic Mexican food. Reasonably priced.

My family and I love this place. Whether we dine in or order pick up, food is always fresh and good and hot! Love their queso. Rice is always cooked perfectly. Drinks are delicious and kids meals are really good as well.

Man the food is good at Carmens. I’ll be back. I enjoyed the fish tacos. There was a ton of great fried fish in those. One of the best Mexican places in LS.

Super tasty! Margs were great (2 for $7 special!) And the tacos and rice were awesome too. Service and food were great all around!
