Trek Bicycle Lee's Summit

Trek Lee’s Summit is famous for service and technical ability. I tried to service an obsolete shock specific my 7 year old Specialized bike and couldn’t get it working to reassemble. I was recommended to Trek LS but the drive is 45 minutes. When I called, Luke answered the phone and knew what shock I had just based on age, so I knew this was the shop. I brought the bag of parts in and Luke was able to save it! Couldn’t be more impressed, the reputation is well-earned.

The staff is awesome. I actually race a pedal system with paddles on my boat. They have helped me understand everything I needed to know about a completely different integral system other than a bicycle. They have assisted in ordering the right parts. I would not be successful without them. I finished 1st in pedal class I MR340 and fifth overall this summer.

Chris is amazing. He helped me purchase a bike for my son, never felt sold to, never felt pressured. They are very knowledgeable, they don't work there, they eat, sleep, and breath biking. The offering is very reasonably priced in comparison to other stores. They go above and beyond showing my 11 y/o son how to care for the new bike and even groups and apps that show trails. Very helpful sales and service staff. My phone calls were answered by a real person – thank you Chris. Luke got me into a bike trainer I am really enjoying. Craig explained in detail the service he performed on my mountain bike front shock. A great experience!

Our local Trek Bike Shop is outstanding in their sales and service. Everyone there; from the manager, Luke, to the salespersons and technicians, go out of their way to meet all my concerns! I recommend them to anyone who is interested in buying and maintaining a quality bicycle! They've got your back!

The Trek staff at Lees Summit was fabulous to work with. We called, hooked up with Chris who was great. Walked us through his inventory - even double checking when the online store didn't match up with inventory. We talked for a bit, made a great connection and proceeded to ordered our bikes. Chris called a day or so later and let us know they were in and when we were ready to stop by and pick them up. We headed in and met Cameron. He was great! I had watched nearly every Trek Marlin 6 video on YouTube, and was filled with questions - Cameron was patient and answered each of my questions, taking his time, giving examples on the bike (or bike rack) without missing a step. He calmly moved on to my wife's bike, repeating the process. Good guy to have on your side in the bike shop!
I left their facility feeling confident I had a good bike and a group I could depend on when things go wrong.

Such a great LBS! The employees are incredibly knowledgeable and the bike service is top notch. I drove 30 minutes to come and it was well worth it!

The service we received at Trek was second to none. Gareth knew so much about cycling and with me and my wife being so new, we were grateful to have him help us. We bought two new bikes and all the bells and whistles needed for new cyclists. Gareth even made a house call to come insert projective liners for our tubes! I like Trek but Gareth and his professional and personal service is what truly sold us.

Seriously, they have taken such good care of me each time I needed anything that they have won a very loyal customer despite being pretty far from home and that I rarely trust anyone to work on my bikes. They seriously are amazing! A+ 10/10  etc!

Probably the best service experience I've had for any product. When I arrived I figured I'd just drop off my bike, get a call a few days later with an estimated diagnosis with cost. But instead the guys immediately threw my bike on the stand and started to diagnose the problem, they suggested necessary maintenance AND they identified that I had a fox shock which was recalled. The day I went to pick up my bike, I got out work late and was going to arrive about 10 minutes past their closing time, they waited for me, they didn't seem rushed to get me out the door. Instead Travis took the time to adjust my rear suspension. 1000% the place I trust from now on. I wish they were closer to my home, but they are worth the drive. Thank you!!

I was immediately assisted upon entry into to the store. They let me ride a few bikes and were willing to answer my questions. Overall a fun, no pressure experience!

Cameron was really great. I think he was more excited about my bike than I was. Rodney was great suggesting rides. In fact, all of the staff was tremendous!

Products-- Trek consistently combines innovation, functionally, and aesthetics. The bikes are extremely well made. I always feel like I am getting the best possible product with the highest level of design.

Services-- Every Trek store I have ever been in has provided me with quality information and has been patient in answering my questions or walking me through a decision. Perhaps, even more importantly, they share an enthusiasm with their customers that make the purchasing process fun and exciting.

I spent several months researching emb's(electric mountain bike.) I rented several last summer I Colorado, watched countless videos, read countless articles, and had narrowed my choices down based on the following:

In the end, this store and bike they sold me met each and every one of the above listed requirements and in some aspects exceeded them. Everyone at this store was/are some of the most professional, friendly, informative and just honest people you will ever meet at a bike shop. That is honestly a very huge compliment because there are several great bike shops in the KC area but for me personally, this store didn't just sell me a bike, but made it a fantastic experience overall!

I just purchased our family's second bike from Trek. They have the best bikes and the greatest customer service. I recently purchased a Marlin 5 for my 10 year old and he can't stop smiling he loves his bike. The employees are very knowledgeable and helped me find the best fit for him so that he can ride safely. I highly recommend Trek Bicycle.

First time using the Trek store in Lee's Summit. Took my mountain bike in for a tune-up and noise in the rear (brake rotor). The gentleman that I dropped off with was super nice and talked me up for about 30 minutes. Answered all my questions and was very helpful (Mike I think was his name). He measured my chain and it was time for replacement so okayed to have that done as well. Got a call a few days later that the bike was ready to pick up. I believe it was Troy who called, explained in detail everything that was done on the tune-up. Also included straightening my rear derailleur hanger (bent) and truing my rear rotor. Still have a slight rubbing noise in the rear rotor but will test out on the trails this weekend. Will definitely use these guys for all my service needs going forward, super knowledgeable and very friendly. Have purchased a few bikes from the Shawnee location in the past but nice to have a trek store closer to home. Thank you guys!!

Went on a (night) group ride sponsored by Trek of Lee’s Summit at Lake Jacomo. Awesome group on awesome trails. It’s great how much activity is in the mountain bike community and how well they work with Jackson County to establish and maintain these trails. Hope to attend many more of these.
