Kade's Playground

We had a great time at this park! The equipment was fun for the kids, slides, swings, all the normal stuff. It has this cool hard/spongy rubber ground covering that works much better than shredded tires or mulch like most parks use. There's a cool volcano thing and simulated rocks that the kkds really had fun with. The layout is pretty good where if you stand in the middle, you can see almost everything. There are male, female, and family restrooms here that were clean and well functioning. There's also water drinking fountains, and ample trash cans so there's no excuse for littering! Parking isn't *tight*, but if you have an RV or a trailer you won't have much ability to park. Large trucks (long bed crew cabs) will be tight, but your standard SUV, full-size car, or van won't have any issues.
There is a splash pad, or water activities area attached to the park, but it's not warm enough for that at the time of this writing, so I can't speak on that. The equipment that was there looked nice, but since it's still winter, none of it is functioning right now.

Overall, a nice park, and we'll be going back again!

This place was so entertaining! I loved the lava theme and the splash pad was unique and great! I will say the park does not have great sight lines to keep track of your kids so it's not great if you just want to sit while your kids play on the playground. If they are just playing at the splash pad it is great though! I will definitely go again if I'm in the St. Louis area!

This is a great playground with stuff for everyone. I love the volcano theme. There are so many things to do that there was no real waiting for slides or swings, because the kids kept finding other things to play with, like the many musical instruments built into and around the play set. Definitely worth a visit. You'll want to come back. I know my kids will!

It's a very nice park for the kids to play. They also have places for parents if they want to sit down. They also have a little water part for the kids to get wet. I have taken my grandchildren and had a picnic lunch there. They also have a box with diapers in it for people in need as well as a box with books in it. You just bring a book and put it in the box and then you take a book. They also have restrooms but I have never been inside so I don't know about them. My grandchildren love this park.

By far the best playgrounds in the area. Has a water play area and volcano slide among many other fairly unique features.

Dirt/light gravel trail with a couple of forks in it. There is a small creek along side one of the trails, but there wasn't much water in it when we walked it early March, 2021).

Several baseball fields

Large dog park (far end near the woods) with separated small and large dog sections, with a large canopy covering the center and water fountains for both humans and dogs. Could use another bench or two, but overall a nice dog park.

Plenty of parking space between the two lots, with separate parking for the dog park.

There is also a river near the wooded area and dog park.

Great park for children of all ages and today there was a decent amount of kids and everyone was just playing perfectly together definitely going to be a regular visitor my kids had a blast

My granddaughters absolutely loved playing at Kades playground! I was very impressed with the layout of the playground and there's something for all ages of kids. The girls are looking forward to coming back this summer to experience the water park.
This is a wonderful asset to the Herculaneum community!

Always have fun at Kades Playground with our grandkids. Just can't wait for the water splash park part of it to open up for a bigger better experience

All of my kids love it here. They are 5 and 11. We enjoyed the splash pad for the first time today. It was a great way to spend our day.

great water play area, but if it's really hot the playground is dangerous. And the rocks in the new water play area, a little dangerous, our grandson got a mild bleeding scratch from the rocks they have all over there. And we where vigilant about watching him, and not allowing him to climb on things like he wanted to.

My girls’ fav park! So glad it’s so close to home & they never get tired of it! Perfect for all ages and stages and it’s safe everywhere! So thankful for this park.
And love having the dog park behind it so we can bring our pups with us sometimes.

The kids love going to the "volcano" park. During the summer there is a splash pad usually working, this year it has been out of service for a bit.

This a beautiful, well-maintained playground. And it's ADA compliant. My six year old loves it and recommends it!

This park was great before they added the splash pad. Now it's even better! In addition to the splash pad they added a large pavilion for get togethers and birthday parties.

Love bringing the kids here! The playground is all inclusive for any child’s needs. There are slides, bridges, monkey bars, swings, musical instruments, and even a cute pirate-themed splash pad. I would suggest that the website add if the splash pad is open daily and how crowded it is, like a status. Overall, it’s fun to go to and play, and even bring a picnic.

While a little crowded due to the weekend everyone worked at maintaining social distancing to allow the children the opportunity to play and be children

My kids had a great time playing at Kades Playground! The park is big, and it didn't feel crowded! We went on a Thursday and it was perfect!
